That Mohammed Salah is not scoring even as his team-mates bag for fun must be a worry.
Flat as a pancake.
It was me.
That Stevencc geezer hasn't got a fucking clue.
But did he make 14 saves against Arsenal?
32 goals in 9 games.
Not at all FEARSOME.
Rubbish that Mo Salah, just an Egyptian Aaron Lennon.
We're only talking about him because he's a forrin.
Unbelievable scoring record from Mo, 32 in 9.
I read that after I posted it and knew someone would deliberately take it the wrong way. Bloody scamp.
Sorry boss, I'm using pettiness and low-quality humour to chip away at the annoyance I feel at seeing Salah performing so well at the moment.
exceptional bullying last night - well done.
Despite the shit result today that is 19 goals in 24 games in all comps for Salah this season. He will almost certainly score over 20 by the end of the year and I can see him possibly hitting 35+ by May which would be damn impressive given that he isn't a striker.
He'll do well for Barca.
Pfft Barca's time is over. It's time for us to start flexing our muscles once again once we get the defense sorted out...
Salah has just been named African Footballer Of The Year, beating a shortlist of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane and Victor Moses.
None of the others have done a fucking thing this year though tbf.
Victor Moses was a big part of Chelsea's title winning team, wasn't he? Also, Mane was fantastic last season. It's over a calendar year I believe.
Yeah but Senegal went out of the Afcon as soon as it hit the ko stage, hosts Gabon (Aubameyang) went out without registering a win. Nigeria werent even at the Afcon. Mo's Egypt were losing finalists. This plays a big part unless someone does something exceptional at club level. Which noone has. He certainly merits it, just he's not had much competition for it really.
and he sent egypt to their first world cup in 28 years with that 95th minute penalty. was only every gonna be one winner.
it certainly is mate
BBC African Footballer of the Year and it was a fan vote.
I can recognise that
Fair does. Just pointing out he hasn't won actual CAF African player of the year.
Keita as we know is highly regarded, and has been scoring goals in midfield for Leipzig for fun and running the side; and Aubameyang in this calendar year has probably netted 60 goals! Hardly a pittance effort from either.
Delighted for Salah, he seems a great humble lad and has really kicked on over the last few years. Well deserved.
Keita has also been suspended for assaulting his own captain, refused to play for his club and gotten 3 red cards this season to go with insipid performances.
And PEA has scored but a measley 40 this year!
And yeah, BBC fucking award counts for nowt. Fully expe t he'll get the proper one though.
This mighty BBC award is world renowned.
Never would have had Salah beating Mane, Moses and Keita in a BBC competition
