Ozil swaps shirts at half time, modern football everyone.

Sanchez has been worse than Özil, but you can be who gets the criticism again. Not surprised to hear Paul Scholes have a pop though.

Scholes only said about the shirt swapping, it's Petit who doesn't like Ozil.

And none of the former professionals seem to like shirt swaps at half time from the few times I've seen it done.

Both said it, Scholes just after Petit (as well as the shirt swap which I don't like either but it's hardly Andre Santos/RVP)

Incidentally I also disagree that Sanchez has been worse than Ozil.
It's a shame that Welbeck doesn't have a little more technical ability because he sees balls and moves into good space, but he just overhits some of his passes or just plays them a little wayward. I think Scholes got it right when he said he probably needs to just slow down a little bit and get some composure/ He's had a good first half and been involved in everything good for Arsenal, but if he just had that little bit of extra quality he'd really step up a level. Not sure he can do it though at the pace he likes to play at.

No way has Sanchez been better than Ozil (no umlauts on my mobile). He's at risk of getting sent off, I'd bring on Ramsey or Walcott on for him.

No idea how Sanchez is still on the pitch.

Get the fuck in!

What a pass by Ozil to open Monreal up behind.

Game on. Have to just go for it now, if they score it doesn't change anything, we need another

Subasic has made two stunning saves. Abdennour with clearance. This is destined to end in misery.

Monaco are a bang average wank European side, it's a joke that Arsenal haven't been good enough to progress.

Great effort, gave it their all, can hold their heads up high, look to end the season strongly to ensure that top four spot etc.

Typical Arsenal.

Five seasons in a row that Arsenal have failed to progress past this stage.

Monaco were poor and fortunate tonight but the damage was done in first leg.
Great for the club to knock somebody like Arsenal out.

No complaints, the damage was already done and we only have ourselves to blame for not progressing.

Like I said earlier, at the very least this should give us more momentum to fight for 2nd in the PL and win the FA Cup.

Credit to Monaco, but we only have ourselves to blame. I hope this only makes the players hungrier for success.

We could do with Abdennour to partner Koscielny.

Created enough chances but didn't get that little bit of luck we needed.
