We don't have Norwood and Morecambe have looked better in their last couple of games, so potential banana skin, given that this is the first away game this year that most Rovers fans attending will be more or less expecting to win. We should hopefully sell out all 1750 tickets, although the lack of trains is a pain - can recommend driving for sure. Going for another 0-0 draw up there, with Cole Stockton touching the ball once in the entire 90 minutes. Any suggestions for parking please?

There is plenty of street parking right outside the ground, albeit it will be a lot busier than our last visit, with 1,300 tickets sold so far.

I think it will be a tough game, particularly without Norwood. I think Gilmour deserves to start in midfield but I am not sure how Mullin will cope as a lone striker.

Still, it is a great opportunity to get some momentum with Macclesfield to follow next Friday.

Really not sure why Morecambe can’t do pay on the gate. Would probably be another 2-300 away fans.

Team will be Mullin in for Norwood and either Gilmour or Cole in for Stockton.

Won't be going due to the all ticket for away fans and not expecting us to sell all 1750 tickets, but a decent turnout from the SWA. One striker and packing the midfield might not work so well in games like this, where I'd expect midfield might be by-passed. Spoils to be shared.

I can never understand why clubs at this level make matches all ticket, when complete sell-outs are so rare. Morecambe have probably done themselves out of 4-5 grand by refusing to sell tickets to away fans on the day.

It seems there are quite a few Tranmere fans who did not realise tickets came off sale so early and are going to be disappointed.

Hopefully they’ll see sense in the morning. Looks like a lot on twitter who have missed out on tickets. Think we’ve sold 1400 so far.

Not like it should come as a surprise, it's what we were told all along. Just that most clubs will actually allow pay on the day, strange of Morecambe that. Suspect a few will go in the home end.

Think Mullin and Stockton should both start. Would be just like us to lose this one after the result against Lincoln.

Always passed off as a “safety concern” yet it forces away fans into the home end which is undoubtedly an actual safety concern.

Dominate, should score 2 sitters. Concede a long range effort from morecambes only kick. :hb:

He is, but I think he got the one big decision (the penalty appeal) right. I was directly in line with play in the seats and the ball was already out before Banks handled it.

22 fouls against, 4 fouls for. He literally gave us nothing.

One of the best games of football I've seen in a very long time - open game, both sides set up to attack and both teams had spells of being on top and spells of looking out of the game entirely. And what a finish for the winner from Harvey Gilmour.

Morecambe should have had two pens. But we still deserved to win I reckon. Great day out. These away games keep getting better.

I thought Morecambe looked a decent side and I could not understand how they had started the season so badly. I can't see them going down on that showing.

I was hoping the standard of the refs in the Football League would be better than the abysmal officials we have watched during our exile. Sadly the last three games I have seen have completely dispelled that hope. The most worrying thing is that these, Boyson, Baines and Kettle, are three of the most experienced refs on the lists and I can well remember all three being equally inapt 5 or more years ago. There were numerous occasions yesterday when Paul Mullin was obviously fouled without it being given and there was a incident near the end when our new Italian forward was fouled not once, not twice but three times by the last defender less then 10 yards away from the lineman and not much further away from a grossly unfit Mr.Kettle.

Think you mean Haines. Broadly agree with your remarks regarding the more experienced refs on the list, Boyeson was poor in the Newport game and even Dean Whitestone, who used to be a safe pair of hands had an off day. Ben Toner in the opening home game v Cheltenham probably the best to date.
