Dangerous one, this. I think a lot of people have written Morecambe off as relegation fodder after last week’s beating at Crewe and we’re naturally in good spirits so it’s easy to predict a comfortable win for us today.

However, I think it will be pretty close and we’re going to have to work our nads off to get anything. Think it will be either 1-0 to us or 1-1.

Also just seen they’ve signed AJ Leitch-Smith who’s a capable striker at this level, plus Liam Mandeville is decent and could give us some problems.

Looks as though Jimbo hasn't learnt anything from last season or even last week. We're in big trouble if we don't change our tactics, it just doesn't work. Vadaine's defensive header when 3 yards out says it all really. Might aswell play him as a centre-back instead of up top on his own, useless.

Good win. Sounds like Morecambe shaded the first half and we took a long time to get into the game, which Taylor wasn’t happy about. Nicky Law went off with a groin injury which is a huge shame but it strangely saw us get a foothold with Tillson coming on who gave us more bite.

A great penalty from Sweeney (standard) and a fantastic cross to setup Stockley for his first goal of the season. Holmes was also excellent which is a big plus to have him fit.

Top of the league. End the season now!

Really confident about this season, think the balance of the squad is really good, and think this could be our year. A lot of competition for places and that's not including the up and coming youth. Heard Morecambe made a game of it and must have been a lot better than against Crewe, but we still go the points which maybe we wouldn't have in the past
