Read some article not long back about a company that fits out trad ice cream vans that's based near Crewe, bet they're the sponsors. Actually a good engineering sucess story, think they were exporting to surprising places like Kazakhstan or somewhere.

That's not just it.

It runs the whole length of the stand.

What's wrong with that? The British Army use those gazebos for recruitment:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you Brentford's Neal Maupay:

Apparently we've put a bid in for him as he's more likely to score than any of our lot.

We been going on about getting a big screen/scoreboard for ages now, well we finally got it installed and yesterday was to be the first game it would be used......lets just say, it didn't quite go to plan. It was raining all yesterday & the screen went pop not long after it was turned on because someone forgot to waterproof the bloody thing.

Have seen five different mascots representing Peterborough this evening - including a giant furry 'A'. Is that some kind of record? #pompey

As if they're taking the mick about each of our sponsors having a mascot.

I hope they've got at least one more crate of coke.

What's that thing on the horse?
That was part of the Lincoln Knights Trail and done for an anniversary of some description to do with a piece in the Cathedral I think. It was a trail that took you all over Lincoln.

http://www.knightstrail.com/the-knights

There were 36 different ones on show earlier in the year from May to September. Then they were then auctioned off and raised £180k for charity. I think the most expensive one was the Dambuster's 'Knight of the Sky', signed by Jonny Johnson who is the last surviving member of the Dambsuters 617 Squadron, which sold for £15k.

Various sponsors bought ours for £6k or so, which is now on display somewhere at Sincil Bank. Signed by all of last seasons squad as well, so adds a bit more significance to it after what ended up happening.
