Yep fucked it again.

Awful. Just absolutely awful. 2 relegations in a row. If we were a dog we would’ve been euthanised months ago.

Rumours are we changed team sheet 5 mins before kick off.

Point a fair result tonight. We had an off night (and aren’t very good to start with), and Barnet clearly lack confidence.

Barnet are just so predictable. A couple of players that are decent on the ball, willing to drop to the ground at a slight breeze and absolutely shit themselves under any sort of pressure.

They seem to love Sweeney who I thought was awful. Everyone of our attacks came from him going all “David Luiz” and leaving them wide open when they lost the ball.

Can see why the natives aren’t happy.

I thought we might wait for a game or too before our collapse. Obviously we aren't confident of slipping ouy of the play offs if we left it too late.

Utter shite.

Well you saw tonight why we’re going down - that was us on a better day.

Basically this, we are unbelievably languid in defence. Sweeney is popular because he often appears to be the only player who plays with his heart on his sleeve but he's not a centre back and neither Still nor Currie are willing to face up to this.

Unsurprisingly your goal came on the counter - we are so vulnerable, especially Alexander who just collapses every time he's up against a winger with pace.

For a side 3-0 up, Barrow's fans weren't half quiet. Awful performance from ourselves, I'm not even confident we'll finish in the top 7 the way it's going. We're desperate for a Walker replacement and without Pearson, our defence is a shambles.

Handed Orient two goals on a plate from corners in the first half which cost us. Thought we actually played quite well but not sure how Rendell missed from a yard out at 2-1.

If Leyton Orient go on to win the league, that save from Brill at the end will be a huge factor. Magnificent save

You've got nail down 10th this year because we're going to be back fighting you for it next season.
Is there any point in playing the match at Moss Rose? They'd may as well hand you the 3 points at the start of the season and be done with it.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Much better from the Shots, actually enjoyed the game. Had Orient on the ropes for the first 30 minutes, then predictably conceded 2 set piece goals, allowing O’s to dominate game. 2nd half more even, but shots can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo, scoring only from the spot. Not impressed with Orient, not worthy champions on what I’ve seen of them this season, but who is going to run them close.?....

68 Shaymen saving Barnet from an even more humiliating sub 700 crowd. Oh dear. :ds:

This is the only time we've conceded in the first half at home all season.
Only because an idiot referee claimed he saw a green arm impeding your goalkeeper, even though your goalkeeper was the only man on the pitch in a green shirt, back in September. :ds:

What was the crowd at BarnetWood tonight?

An embarrassing 702. Swelled by around 500 Halifax, no doubt, what with their brilliant away support.

We won’t. The Evil will still win it. Brill has been excellent this season, mind. He’s superb for a short, fat lad.

Everyone*. We’ve been shit since November. Still, that’s three away wins on the bounce in the league. We must be doing something right.

*Well, not everyone. Aldershot for starters. Conference South should be fun.

I think only Jennings had a good game tonight. 4-4-2 just doesn't work with the players we have. Not really sure why Hughes changed to that. Perhaps it might have worked if Pearson and Walker were available.

Spoke to Scott after the game, he didn’t miss it, the defender played it on to him and it ballooned over. At least we finally showed some bollocks tonight, though it’s too little, too late.

Well we turned up with all our injuries, played a ridiculous formation considering who was available and Chesterfield refused the gift.
You went in 1-0 up in a drab first half and ended up having to come back twice to equalise and save a point. Bizarre game.
May I never see that formation with that line up again!

We got away with that this evening, first 30mins we'd have been losing if it wasn't for Dean Brill.

Then cue the signs of a team likely to go down - Conceding two goals from a set play from the same player, within a few minutes of each other and we managed to settle. If we'd been at our best I think we'd have nicked a third, because I thought Aldershot collapsed after we scored.

Second half I knew if we let one in we'd panic, we was fairly comfortable up until then!

Rendell should've levelled the game though, I can only think Happe did just enough to put him off.

4 games in 10 days for us and at the end it showed, our players out on their feet. Losing Jordan Maguire-Drew now for the season is a big blow, his injury disrupted our formation.

No League games for us for two weeks, we managed to go into it top and leave ourselves in a good position. Still time for all these extra games to take its toll - Apart from a 30min spell this evening, our energy levels were low.

Also if Aldershot could show that level of desire on Saturday against the evil it would be appreciated, couldn't fault them this evening IMO.

Unsurprisingly a club in such a mess as ours has a poor attendance. Never understood why that’s always such a stick to beat a club with.

That makes more sense, not usually the kind of chance that he misses.

A poke in the arse was had, oh well.

To be fair we sounded a bit unlucky with a couple of the goals. At least we're turning up to games and not chucking the towel in when it's not going our way. There's progress but defensively we're not up to the mark yet.
