Relatively even first half, we’ve had the better of the chances.. a terrific save from shots keeper to prevent Norwood in particular.

Heavy challenge on Tollitt seems to have aggravated his knee injury. Ref very lenient on some of the challenges.

We’re knackered and not very good, but thankfully Torquay are woeful.

They don’t even look arsed.

Deservingly relegated on this showing so far

Ebbsfleet are pretty decent, aren't they?

Not a great game of football, can't say much more than whats been said: shouldve gone 2-0 and then should have conceded late on. Take a draw as we probably didn't quite deserve it!

Aldershot have turned into Dover, the kind of niggly team that usually beats us, aided by some weak refereeing. Tollitt injured again is bad news with our lack of width.

Thought the minority of shots supporters screaming to get tollitt off left a bad taste in the mouth after what the lads been through injury wise

If we get spanked by Boreham Wood at Wembley I'm giving up on football. I'm getting nightmares about it already.

If they won it on the last day would Tranmere be the first team to never be top at the end of a day? At any level?

Shots sound like they've just completely gifted the win to Tranmere. Kellerman jibbing a tackle and now centre half putting it on a plate for them.

Aldershot love absolutely gifting Norwood goals.

Gulf between the sides second half, in the end we could have won by more despite Aldershots extra 3 players.

Slowly dragging our sorry carcass of a club towards safety :bdick:

Now for Orient to roll over for a belly tickle on Tuesday to help the Brotherhood out.

As tragic as it is that's as good as we've played attacking-wise for ages. Miss a load of chances, hit the bar twice, one cleared off the line then go and concede an own goal to lose. Wrexham that.

Fortunately for your rabble Dover are equally bad and we’ll do you you a favour on Tuesday.

Dover won't get in there either, Ebbsfleet are getting in and winning them.

Wasn’t on the bench, rumoured to be injured.

Agree.. ebbsfleet on form. Aldershot and Sutton lucky that us and Dover have totally gone. Still can't figure out how we managed to lose that.

Ebbsfleet dont hold any fears from what i saw of them at our place .

As for shots i was hugely disappointed by them today after a year of telling everyone on here they were the best footballing team in the division they spent the first 55 minutes hoofing it up to the black chap up front who was sitting in mcnultys pocket! Cannot comment on the last 35 as they offered nothing ,

I thought Aldershot were poor today. They clearly just came for a point and set up to frustrate us and we did not see any of the expansive football of last season. If that is the standard of the play-offs, there is nothing to fear.

We were not great, but the victory was deserved. Our two strikers will often be the difference in tight games like that.
