Another interesting trip to another team with a plastic pitch for us. A team with 4 of our ex players in it.

Bromley aren't as good as Sutton, but they don't look like they concede many.

Steve Davis has hinted that he will rotate one or two, which will be needed after we looked a bit leggy on Saturday.

Thankfully I'm working Tuesday night and won't have to watch the current shit show that is HUFC, I don't think any of them could complain if they're dropped on Tuesday after Saturday's performance.

CH needs to win this one, not only for himself but to keep the teeth gnashing thicko's at bay who already want him sacked :err: it's been a disappointing start, a major reality check for most fans who thought the league would be a lot easier than it is, let's see where we stand after 15 games, then decide if we need to start panicking.

Fully expect early pace setters Aldershot to pick up another 3 points on their travels at Maidstone. Think it will be a tougher task for D&R to get past Ebbsfleet though. Surely Hartlepool will get their season started with a victory against Chester.
I'm off to Guiseley, would expect McNulty to start for Tranmere. Not sure how this 1 will go having witnessed Sutton bully Tranmere off the park on Saturday. Could do with a Louis Maynard type box to box physical presence in the team.

Macclesfield at home for Sutton. Last season saw U's win comfortably 2-0, but that was last season. Saturday's win will have taken its toll on our part-time teams legs, but I think we should have enough about us to win, but I wouldn't be surprised by any result

Halifax away. They haven't scored yet, so in true Dover fashion we'll probably lose 3-0

Bit of a banana skin for us here, Tuesday night, away on one of those plastic pitches at Bromley. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to this one, but all the same, would probably take a draw given that we've won our last 2 on the bounce.

From Bromley's 3 results I can see 2 drab 0-0 bore draws, and a narrow win at Dover, 5/9 isn't bad, but how good are they really?

We're still very much getting up to speed given our summer, but with two home wins under our belt, and the comparatively easy/medium fixtures of Bromley and Woking up next, I would probably expect to net 4 points from these 2.

Bromley 1-2 Orient.

Attendance: 1,988 (1,001 Orient fans)

Not expecting anything other than a loss from the trip to Daggers. Not sure if they'll be as good on the ball as Fylde, but they'll prove us problems and I can see them being a lot better defensively than Fylde, but we will still score. 3-2 loss.

Not sure what crowds they get, but I'd like to think we'll have around 200 or so there.

We have nobody that could remotely try and bully you, all ours lay down for their bellies tickling once we concede.

We're hoping that Solihull are as bad as they look on paper and as bad as they were at the end of last season. Hopeful of an away win.

Sutton away last year was the worst performance under JA, and based on what I saw of their game on TV it's going to be a very difficult game. Before the trip a year ago we hadn't done any training on plastic before it which may not have helped (not sure what JA was thinking there), but it was actually the players' inability to deal with a strong breeze that caused the most problems. New team, maybe plastic suits us now.

I have a horrible feeling that we're going to get battered.

Orient fans really need to get over their 3G fixation. They do not cause injuries, give home advantage or cause strange bounces. Many players train on them and they are a fact of life in this league.

An easy win for Eastleigh.

The National League forced us to travel 1342 miles last week.

I think they do cause a minor home advantage to be honest - and I'm not just saying that to be difficult or to make a point.

Fact is, 3G pitches do cause irregular bounce from time to time; the surface is inherently different to a proper grass pitch, so we are not used to it. Playing and training on 3G every single week definitely gives you a small advantage over those teams who are unfamiliar with playing on a 3G surface.

Not really borne out by facts since we moved in though.

The bounce is bigger than a grass surface, but not ridiculously so. Balls can take funny bounces off a grass surface too. It's like people think we're playing on 80's style plastic here.

This will be the third season in a row I've watched us at Guiseley. Neither of the previous games saw great Tranmere performances... third time lucky?

Maybe not. Seems many have been put off by the price of entry. I said to my mate earlier, normally we'd take between 150-250 to midweek games in Essex, but have a feeling we may only muster a 100 if we're lucky judging by comments I've seen on our forum and the Fleet Facebook page. Hope I'm wrong though! Considering we took approx 150 to Guiseley, it would be a shame to have less at Dagenham!

Went to Dagenham a few years ago for their final game of the season where York sold out the away end, will be good to be in the away end this time round! Looking forward to it regardless, despite the fact we will lose.

If it's the same Guiseley that turned up at the Rec on Saturday then you will be filling your boots.
We're at Maidstone tomorrow, tough game on the 3G and got a feeling our 100% record will go - I'm going 1-1.

Tomorrow is really a 'no-win' situation. With Aldershot hammering 6 past Guiseley on Saturday, you'd have to imagine they'd be right up for this and go ultra defensive to prevent a repeat. Unfortunately, people will see that score and expect us to do similar, meaning Mellon and the boys really can't win.

We're expected to win, but if we win by 1-0 or 2-1, people will be comparing us to Aldershot. If we don't win, people will (rightly) point out it's one win out of the first four. We've never had an easy game up there and I don't expect one tomorrow.
