We've got to win our next two league games which are against Maidenhead and Havant if we're to have any hope of winning the league, you've got to beat the teams near the bottom at the very least.

We have 14 games left - If we win 9 or 10 then IMO we will win the league. Only win 7 or 8 and you're asking for some luck.

We can only afford to lose 2 more games as well. Solihull in control now after they played their game in hand earlier than us on Tuesday.

Lots of talk regarding Jay Simpson finally signing this week, we badly needed another striker to help us finish this off because Matt Harrold is 35 and more of an impact player and James Alabi despite the odd positive contribution this season isn't good enough.

Hopefully his fitness is good, he should do well at this level but he struggled for goals in the MLS.

MLS is a bit better than here though so might be a good signing but as we see with players used to higher levels, it can be hard to adapt to NL.

Anyway, on to Boredom Wood who are on a bad run. We're looking a bit better now. We're doing nowt for the rest of this season but I want us to finish as well as we can. The vibe around the club is better and contracts for next year up for grabs so hope we go out and do 'em.

Boreham Wood must be buzzing this season, they were the universally despised team down here until The Evil came along, even their chairman releasing his Brexit dissertation to the world did nothing to ease The Evil hate train.

Wouldn't be too upset with a point here.

Sutton one week, then Solihull, then Sutton.

Will feel like we’re in the Super League rather than the National League in a week or so’s time.

Yeah they're massively under the radar this season, probably cos they're on the way to oblivion again or so I hope especially because a) they're tinpot as fuck and b) if the club has them kind of views then fuck them and c) they charge the equivalent of Adam Rooney's golden bell end to have live commentary in their ground so again, fuck 'em.

Chesterfield at home for us and I think we'll draw. Denton always causes us problems. I can't really see much value in this week's fixtures. Possibly Salford/Harrogate double. Salford at around 8/13 probably the bet of the day. I think they should be around 1/2

Over the next week we've got to travel a billion miles.

The season ends here.

Another defeat incoming.

We've yet to win a Kent derby since we been in this league.

Away at Salford. Their goals have dried up, so we can best hope for a 0-0

Dont worry, you will do well, im sure,
Otherwise call it now, reffed out, bankrolled out, bus parked, etc etc etc

In all seriousness, it is a hardline, the FA trophy and Cup can create a fixture list in this league that is tough for any club. Imagine, though, a semi pro club having to do that mileage! You wouldn't keep the day job!

We’ve been on a good run and it’s a good chance for that to continue being back at home against Maidstone.
Saying that John Still did a number on us earlier this season with Barnet but we look a little different to what we did then.

A lot of top v bottom fixtures tomorrow so would hope to not be any lower down at the end of play. Didn't think I would be saying at the start of the season that one point from away games at Solihull and Sutton would be a decent return.

Halifax without a win in 8 against us without a win in 17.

Sounds like a draw tomorrow

Lump on Gateshead tomorrow, we’re without Wilkinson and Balanta. Both players fouled out of games recently and now injured.

If we are going to keep pace with the title challengers, we need to be winning this type of game.

How’s JJ Hopper getting on down there?

We could do with a win as we are without one since Christmas. Like Bromley last week, Sutton are a team we always seems to struggle against and the fact we've only scored once in the last five games won't help proceedings either. Expecting a 2 or 3-0 defeat.

How’s JJ Hopper getting on down there?

He just finds himself in the right place at the right time and keeps getting goals.
His overall performance varies from very quiet but trying to an absolute handful...for 10-20mins then back to very quiet.
it doesn’t seem to matter as he just keeps on scoring. Some of the most bizarre goals as well.
Believe it’s 9 goals in 11 in all comps.
5 in 9 in the league.
Can’t question the scoring record but feel if you could just get that little bit more in overall contribution he’d be another step up...but then he wouldn’t be at Bromley FC!!

After having two legitimate goals ruled out in the away game in a 2-1 defeat, it would be nice to get a revenge win. Although Sutton games are only decided by one goal so I expect a tight game

Well done for giving Alabi a good go unlike Tranmere.

It really affected Tranmere as they binned him off sharpish and then marched to promotion.

Orient appear to have reached a similar conclusion about his ability though
We play a passing game with technical players, he doesn't have the ability or footballing intelligence/awareness to keep up with the majority of the squad in that regard.

He's more of a chase the ball into the channels type of player - We don't play like that though.

He's had his moments here, but you need to play to his strengths. Having said that, he has missed one or two good chances as well.
