How many will Boreham Wood bring to us? We're only a mere 10 miles away if that, they brought 166 last season - mainly Watford fans on a jolly boys day out, acting like big shots.

We've got to get some momentum going at home, we've been awful for 4 seasons at home.

Our total home record for the last 4 seasons combined (League Only and this seasons two draws so far) reads:

Played: 94
Won: 28
Drawn: 19
Lost: 47

So we've lost exactly 50% of our home games in the last four seasons since our 2014 League One playoff final.

Edinburghs biggest task this season is to try and get us competing better at home, too many teams have come to us particularly in the National League and raise their game, playing it like a cup final. We always seem to start with a lazy focus at home and its fucking annoying.

Wow that's awful. Amazing you lot still turn. Out in decent numbers to be fair.

Ok faux cockneys, you go on about your home record. Ours may actually be worse.

The last time we won more home games than away was 2010/11

Since then our record is:

W 52
D 39
L 70

Thats over like 7 seasons, the last 4 have been even worse. I get the cup final thing, will never forget how Sutton particularly celebrated a last minute equaliser last season. Similarly why we always did well away in L1, smaller club going to the Wednesdays, Bradford etc.

Fortunately our away records have bailed us out a few seasons

Otherwise we'd be down there with Darlo

We went through a similarly silly phase pre-2011, albeit not as long as Orient or Hartlepool's! Something daft like a year without a win at home on a Saturday (and there weren't too many midweek games either).

Luckily, we're ok at the minute. Since August 2016, we've won 40 of our 60 at home, only losing 5 and going 364 days without defeat between Barrow in September 2016 and Mansfield in September 2017.

Hmmm, Halifax away.

It may shock a few, but I’m going to go with..... defeat....

Maidstone away - the plastic pitch should actually suit our passing style of play
- i'm hoping for a Barra-celona win - with more Hindle and Smith goals.

1300 in the away end and likely 2-300 with myself in the home end tomorrow, should be a good game of football and a half decent atmosphere.

Looking forward to a day on the ale followed by Liam Gallagher in the evening.

Niko says we're gonna batter Maidenhead on Saturday so I believe him, I can’t be arsed with another ruined weekend

Think we will finally concede this weekend, They've had 2 decent wins on the bounce. I'm going for a 1-1 Summerfield for us, Zebroski header for them

Dagenham at home. Think we’ll bounce back from the unlucky Salford defeat with a comfortable 3-0 win as it seems Dagenham are rather poor this year.

He's probably right, we look a little way off being competitive at the moment. We might have a chance if we don't start Ryan Bird though.

We are poor but not through lack of effort and have been close in all our games, If your players take it easy we could surprise you. I doubt there is a 3-0 difference between the two squads, you’ve had a good start don’t get carried away. Plus I notice you’ve only between sides that will be down the wrong end come April. See Woking who sung about going up about 7 games in last season. You’ll probably win but not too comfortably, quote a 5-0 win tomorrow:)

Home end for me too unless I can source a ticket in the pub tomorrow. Fair few mates going LG and few of us just boozing but all staying over. Should be a good day!

Bees to draw or lose without scoring.

More drab football from Still and those donkeys signed by him. Dagenham you must be laughing at off loading Sparkes, Adams and the keeper. Robson only decent player.

Can’t help but chuckle at this scenario. Sparkes is an average Conference winger, Adams is poor and Cousins is a good shot stopper but can’t command a box or never comes for crosses that are not within 2 yards of the goal line. Robson is a decent centre back but not big/tall enough in his league, Still played him in midfield half the time. We finished mid table and all the best players left long before the summer had arrived. You’ll win games under Still but it will be awful to watch. Bet he is spouting bollocks about how you don’t know where the league is until after 10 games nonsense. You’ll see our best player today bar Morgan Ferrier or Fejiri in Corey Whitely.

Will be definitely. One of my favourite places for a beer when I lived round the corner. Plenty good boozers en route from Piccadilly via the northern quarter!

I've had some of that 15/8 this morning in an acca. I was impressed with Barrow.

Gateshead come to ours today. They’ve started well, we haven’t so could be another tricky afternoon. Have to start Okoye, the parts he’s played he’s looked really good but I expect he’ll be on the bench again. Lacking a bit of quality in key places and we’re going to have to ride it out until this is addressed.

No idea what to expect from Eastleigh - what is their ownership situation after the chairman left to go Sunderland?
On paper they've had a reasonably tough opening set of fixtures - Sutton have started well again, Solihull made a good start, and I think both Barnet and Bromley will pick up form and climb up the table soon.

We've played Eastleigh away 4 times and drawn 4 times, and think another draw will be a decent enough result.
