We travel to Aldershot for the first time in 25+ years. We played a friendly back in the summer of 2008, but I was on holiday and missed it.

Lots of pessemism around our place, injuries well and truly mounting up with up to ten players I've heard on the treatment table, with a possible 6 being long term - Charlie Lee (was already out long term to be fair), George Elokobi, Josh Coulson, James Dayton, David Mooney and new signing Matt Harrold will be missing for the forseeable future apparently..............

We are also completely useless at defending as a team, with set pieces being the main problem.

We are entertaining to watch for a neutral with the amount of chances we create, but also the amount we concede as well.

Steve Davis isn't clever enough to get us anywhere in this league, but we're gonna have to put up with him for at least a season.

We'll lose 4-0.

We lost our last game, which in Macc logic, means we're much more likely to win against Torquay than we would be if we had beaten Maidstone.

Should be a win for us at Solihull, and then another against Torquay the following week. Chance for us to push on here and hopefully establish at the top.

I feel confident we'll win, which knowing Pools means we'll probably lose.

Despite winning 4 outta the last 5 I feel like we're a striker short of being a decent side, Cassidy is out for months, Oates is a proper grafter but just doesn't look like a goal threat, Simpson is just a kid and Rodney is, well Rodney.

Win this and we should be back on track.

We're top, therefore we must be punished by losing our next 2 games (seems to be the law this season). Therefore you will win 2-0

Maidstone, top of the form league, could (theoretically) finish the day top or mid table. I am uncharacteristically optimistic about beating Gateshead. All games now segregated, so welcome to the couple of dozen Heed fans who make the long journey to stand in acres of space.

With Cox now in charge we have a chance to out-Dover Dover. Lots of sniping incidents leading to hours of injury time then put the ball in the net whilst everyone in the ground is fast asleep through boredom

Absolutely no hope of even a point on Saturday. Confidence is so low, and the players really didn't want to be there last Saturday. 2-0 to Sutton.

With the goal drought from both sides, the Rovers v Wrecsam game doesn't look like a thriller. Mellon's first game as Rovers manager was the 2-0 win over our Welsh neighbour's last season, though Carden picked the team. Lose this and there's a risk that it will be his last, though expect him to get longer. The atmosphere could get fairly toxic if things go against us.

The Shots v Os clash is probably the pick of this weekend's matches while it will be interesting to see how Chester do under new management.

I did wonder at one stage whether history would repeat itself and you would have a new manager in place for our visit. You are right I do not envisage a thriller although I must admit to being surprised at your lack of goals when I see the strikers you have.Hopefully Kelly will be in centre midfield, where he was more infuential against Guiseley and will be joined by Wright and Wedgebury, as I feel Carrington and Wedgebury both sit to deep and this will invite pressure. Up front Boden needs a goal but him and Holroyd together lack pace, so I would hope to see either Reid or Massanka given a start to at least run at Usain Bolt ( sorry Mcnulty ) in defence,

I'm already officially bored of this season.

We're bland to watch, with a plethora of injuries and a dull, unlikeable manager. I'm not even annoyed given where we could have been under the old ownership, but I'm seriously apathetic to this season.

We'll lose Saturday, finish 15th overall and I'm already looking forward to next season when we'll have a proper go at making the playoffs.

Yawn.

Callum Howe sounds as though he's performing well, Eastleigh Fan? This is the second season in a row he's ended up on loan somewhere and captaining the side within a month or so.

It's quite a poignant fixture tomorrow as today marks the 83rd anniversary of the Gresford Colliery disaster. 266 miners lost their lives in the disaster.

It's poignant because a lot of the miners had doubled up their shifts in order to be able to go to the Wrexham v Tranmere match being held later that day (which amazingly went ahead and finished 2-2)

As for the game tomorrow? Two teams who can't score again. I just want to see a better performance. I'd be happy with another draw if we aren't so turgid.

We'll lose to Torquay. Long way to travel and they have a new manager.

Blimey, you must be shite then! .... we haven't had a win all season, and can't really see us winning this one either despite us having a new manager.... We even lost to Cullompton Rangers in the Devon Cup!

Home to Gateshead, and for once I'm seeing us as favourites. I think we could go top if results fall our way

You underestimate our ability to end other teams' winless runs.

Two biggest teams in the league meeting at the Rec - got a feeling we'll win 2-0 and stretch our lead at the top of the table.

We always seem to struggle at your place. With the fact you have a new manager and 2 new strikers in Murphy and McQouid who are both pretty good- I can see you winning.

Used to stay with an aunty in Llay during the summer holidays in the early 70's and listened to many accounts of the disaster. Disgraceful cover up by the government of the day as the mine owners literally got away with murder.
Not sure if i can be arsed making the game tomorrow as its sandwiched between two 12 hour night shifts and a 80 mile commute.
0-1 to Wrexham infront of a sub 6000 crowd.

Are you me?

I can't make it either as it's sandwiched in between two 12 hour night shifts with an 80 mile commute.
