The hunt begins for us.. we are in a good position and the job will appeal to many. A lot of wrexham fans want continuity, so the suggestion of Carl Darlington , Andy Davies and Steve Wright management team has been put forward by many. A lot of names in the running. ..ranging from Bellamy to the usual suspects of paul cox etc..as usual most of them fill me with dread. Gary mills, brabin , Paul cox ... save time and don't bother applying. We apparently played well yesterday, so whoever comes in doesn't need to re-invent the wheel ..and must keep the back room staff.

Needs to be someone young and enthusiastic in the Keates mould. These old managers at this level just can't be arsed anymore and have no drive left to do the hard graft. Historically we've always had the most success when appointing rookie managers anyway so maybe there's someone up and coming that Darlington has already mentored that he can recommend. Not Craig Harrison.

I don't see the need to bring anyone in until the end of the season. In some ways it might help give us a boost. As Pearson said in his post Woking interview it's an experienced squad, Keates going isn't going to phase them. Whenever we appoint a new manager he has to fit into the existing philosophy. No more Gary Mills throwing the baby out with the bath water approach.

Yep pretty much agree...hopefully the new manager will be appointed in the summer. . Sign a 20 goal a season striker for our first season back in the football league. .and also keep the same backroom staff ...not asking too much.

The new manager will also need to work well with Andy Cook.

Kevin Davies? After a bad start at Southport he's turned it around quite dramatically.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Alan Armstrong has done a good job at blyth.

Flanagan at Curzon is one of the best managers if not the best below the conf national, but i personally am unsure if he'd be a good fit for Wrexham, he's somehow been able to keep a side with 150 paying home fans and just about the smallest budget competative in the Conf North while trying to play an all passing game just getting his players extremely fit and hard working.......but i think he moreso suits a side working against the odds, he'd need time which usually won't get at a club like Wrexham.

its hard sometimes to judge whether half of the managers doing well in Conf north over the last year or two are actually good because some have had such ridiculous budgets it wasn't that hard to do much......its trying to find them 2-3 who have done well.

We tried Kevin wilkin, who is doing well at Brackley but didn't work out for us as the job was to big for him. Even though we haven't got promoted the 2 managers who arguably did best were morrell and keates both of whom played for the club and got the concept of fan run club. . The worst were little and mills...2 so called proven bosses with experience. ..but both past their best and living in the past.

Too big for him? You're Wrexham not Real Madrid.

He's ok at managing clubs in front of 200 people or whatever, we've established that. He couldn't handle the pressure or expectation when he came to us, he was still acting as though he was at a tinpot side where it didn't matter if you won or not.

He shat himself whenever Andy Bishop confronted him. He obviously had dirt on big Kev, as that's the only way I can explain him starting ahead of Louis Moult.

Me main brief is to get the club back to winning the FAW Premier Cup agyen. A club of this stacha has not won it for too many year. A told him a wos the man for that coz I knaa me stats and anatomy like, a said me first task was to put Wedgaz on left wing, coz lads with beardz like that aalways suited to that flank, like. The stats show that. Quigaz with that canny chisled jaw line in at right back. He was aalways moaning that that fuckin knacka kept puttin him up front! Nee wonda he's neva eva won jack shite. That's where me UEFA A licence comes in handy - a even did a module on where to pick players based on earlobe and jawline, the links would blow ya mind, man.

Me interview went so well look at the odds. I cannit to wait to meself gannin on this, am buzzin. Like a said earlia, a've got a real affinity for the club and the Wrecsam lads on here are mint.

May I recommend Darren Kelly. Don't know much about him but he's got Hyde going like a rocket Unibond North, and I understand he has certificates coming out of his ears. :bdick:

So it seems Andy Davies with darlington and wright until end of season. ..then will look to appoint. Gets my backing and hopefully will pay off. We have been down here to long.

If it's a question of time giving you priority, there are others ahead of you in the queue.

Andy Davies..who was keates assistant , will take charge of the team with Steve Wright and Carl Darlington assisting him until end of season. The club will then look at appointing a new manager. Hope that is clearer.

There's nobody ahead of us in terms of that particular queue, we've served a near life sentence down here. Implementation of the Natural Order would result in our immediate release and that of a few others down here (and in other nicks, Stockport).

This was always likely to be the case, as little disruption as possible. Plus there's no time to be scoping out a new manager and making sure he's right for us. The board think that the changing room is strong enough to carry on going without bringing a new face in.

Well ya knaa a wos in for it like and a signed a contract with Johno and Spenca. We wos aboot to cross the ald 'i's and dot the t's' but then a realised a had a prior engagement.

Am launchin TONI&GUY in Anglesey, like. Am deein that til pre season, a cannit start on the Wrecsam vision 'til July man but like a aalways said, foota and fashun are in me blood and am a trendsetta in both. A combine a 90s retro look with a modern edgy hipsta vibe, that's reflected in me footbaal philosophy. A believe a team needs to defend betta, just betta. Keep the backdoor closed, dust yasel doon and pull the trigga is me motto. A take that into me secondary role as a roamin fashionista. A gan aal owa. Momentum aalways takes me there.

A cannit wait to implement them visions for Wrecsam in the Summa like, a get aal these weird texts off Spenca at 3am takkin aboot our future together, winning FAW Premier Cups and pre seasons in Rhyl.

If any of yous at Wrecsam want a sneaky peaky, here a am, new posta boy in Angelsey. Gan and have a canny natta with us. A divvant care who yas are. Aal be in Holyhead April 7th - June 29th.
