Spurs are on the ropes. They wouldn't have scored twice if they didn't think Newcastle were coming to get them!

:brill: All we needed on a tricky first game of the season, all about the result. Pleased to see Rondón continue his form from his time at the Baggies. Sometimes less is more...COYS.

Yeah sorry dude. You don't attend games coz of Ashley.
Seriously, why was he booed?

Cos he played a fairly large part in the club ending up in the second division, which'd be fine if not for all the flirting with Arsenal and Real Madrid :fl: and all the other clubs who never had any interest in him throughout his stay. Then he gave some dodgy interviews in an attempt to force a sale once we were relegated. He's a bit of a c*** basically.

I'm glad to see Ali staying on finding his feet ,the turf in Russia obviously couldnt support the weight of his talent.

Good to see you still keeping your hand in fella ,albeit from you and Seamus ,who else migrated ? What happened to the cantankerous Mr Steel and the congenial Mr Hams ?

Are we taking members from other forums? Certainly doesn't seem that way nowadays but good news if we are!

The site closed mate after ten years and some of the funniest threads I've ever been part of ,curious thing is you can still visit and post ,I think those charged with updating it just became disinterested ,sad because it was frequented by some real witty fuckerz.

Hi Redders,
Good to see you back!:bye::bg: Steely and Hams were playing the football predictions game with me and Specs last season, but seem to have gone off the radar now. Sadly I think the forums are a thing of the past. By all means feel free to join our predictions league https://premierleague.predictthefootball.com/minileague/overall/8112/2018 I'd like to say good luck for the season, but Liverpool don't need much luck this season I fancy. Just hoping Tottenham's minimalist approach to summer transfers somehow works out so we can give you a run for your money.

I was hoping the pair of them and Al Sharpton's lad :bg:would have made the crossover ,are you still running fella ,have you managed a marathon yet ? I think Spurs will be fine mate what with having no new players to integrate ,as for the reds I still think were still a bit short of keeping pace with City but it wont quell the noise from the twitter blurts if we fall short.

Not running any more mate, the overuse injuries just got too frustrating, but "managed a marathon"? How dare you sir! 2H 39m my PB at the Loch Ness Marathon, I'm a seasoned marathoner! :ohy:

Yeah, I suspect Spurs will be okay but I think they needed one or two additions to make a serious run at the title. We shall see, but it looks like a season of "status quo", I'm actually a bit relieved the first game at the new WHL is no longer against the Pool, we really could do with winning that one...

You did 2h39 at a marathon? Seriously? I do barely less than that for a half!

Haha ,I still run ,only twice around Sefton Park mind, I find that's more than sufficient ,not a chance of suffering through a marathon like ,I lack the fortitude to intentionally reduce myself to a husk and would in all probability choke on my own phlegm.
