Apparently the game was meant to be played on the 23rd, but Gateshead requested the game be brought forward because they didnt want travel that far just before Christmas

I didn't realise that 2 decent results against us 30 yrs ago meant they wernt a joke. Last time I checked we played in a 35k all seater stadium and actually pay transfer fees for players. Maidstone on the other hand are a bus stop near London with a pitch and a rope around it.

Contrary to this, I've found many Cardiff fans to be sympathetic with our situation, having met a decent amount following Wales. They have nothing but admiration for the support we pull in non league and a number wouldn't exactly be over the moon to be lumped in with the thugs.
