Feel for kiddy, finishing second and not going up. It happened with us when barrow won the league and it wouldn't surprise me if our manager is getting ready to sign a couple of kiddy players

Listen to the game on Halifax's Player. Sound quality is dreadful.

Haha yep. I remember a couple of years back listening to one of their games when the U's weren't playing, and I had trouble understanding wtf the commetators were on about, due to the bad sound quality and the accent of course.

But then again, I have first hand experience of their accents when I went to watch them play Hereford in the play off final back in 2006. I was sat near two chaps and I managed to understand circa 25% of what they were going on about

Happy with that Fax goal, I know Salford will be a horribly tough side next year with a big budget and probably annoying fanbase, but Curzon wise they bring afew to us and unlike fax its quite a friendly atmos and needs no police. plus the away trip is an absolute doddle.

but i really wanted Kiddy out of it because the other 3 trips were very easy to get to.

Absolutely gutted. We are obviously a better team than Chorley so it is a bitter pill to swallow. Chorley came to roughen us up, and go long, like every other team in this dogshit league. O'Keefe should have been off for 2 yellow card offences in quick succession, and had one of the line from Croasdale in the second half, aswell as hitting the bar.

First goal - wtf. Standard mix-up between goalkeeper and defender, deserved to lose for this mistake alone particularly with an experienced head like Lowe involved.
We knocked on the door, and I don't think Chorley saw the ball in their half, until one of their players couldn't hack 90 minutes and allowed for a drinks break to pick themselves back up. A simple long punt forward resulted in a ball to drop at his feet to tuck in the bottom corner.

I hope we sign one of these gobshites next year to add a bit of steel to us. Number 8 in particular, he was a bellend but he did his job well. Reminded me of Storer.

You might try but I'd be surprised to see players go, to Fylde. I understand that behind the scenes, the Sam Finlay incident left the players with bitter feelings towards Fylde and can't see many players willing to share a dressing room with him if there's other offers on the table.

Gutted about today. We weren't great in the first half, but completely dominated the second. Hit the bar, one cleared off the line, one disallowed, a couple of decent penalty shouts waved away, and they go up the other end in injury time to win it.

Salford are bound to win on penalties. It's the perfect end for Neville's next documentary on the Beeb.

Chelmsford to replace Braintree would be nice.

Relief for all. Would expect them to put away Chorley.

I thought we bottled it. You should never miss all 3 pens, especially not firing 2 of them over.

BBC will be happy. I'd say they would not be able to film once in conference....too many other Tv rights.

oh well i suppose today is Salfords 'empire strikes back' episode.

Having now seen both Chorley and Halifax this season (admittedly just one game each) I would put Chorley ahead of Fax. Probably another close encounter.
The two wingers for Halifax did very well today until it came to crossing the ball. The balls into the box looking for Denton were shockingly bad.

What's Chorley's deal? Bankrolled? Traditional largish North club?
