Hyde United are absolutely flying with another 3-1 victory at Droylsden in the North division.
Now 2 points clear of South Shields, but they have 2 games in hand on the leaders.

They've got a decent ground considering the division that they are in, excellent ground for a spectator.

Grabbed a brace today Lee Hughes in Halesowen's 3-1 win against Nantwich Town.

Alty having a collapse at present, losing 2-0 at home to Stalybridge having lost to Workington midweek also at home.

two away wins in rowfor Staly having been unable to win an away game for ages.

Finished 2-1 to Stalybridge in the end, more worrying for Alty was the defeat against Workington in midweek. A couple of month's ago they were in third place, now they've catapulted down the league table.

No shame in losing to Stalybridge they are a decent side, just had a rough season dropping down to this level. As for Alty they've picked a bad time to be on a downer, hopefully they'll produce the goods come the end of April.

Alty have collapsed like a pack of cards, they've threw away a 10-point lead over Warrington Town at the top of the table. Now just 1-point separates the two clubs at the top.

Hulme and Hancock have stopped scoring, the defence has become very error-prone, and it's all a bit like it was at the start of the season. That's quite a feat, spunking a 10 point lead in 3 weeks.

Didn't go last night, but something strange about that game IMO. No subs used at all, even when pressing for a late win, and all 5 of them have tonight started a meaningless Cheshire senior cup game (in which we are currently 1-0 down with 10 mins to go)

Altrincham have signed winger Theo Bailey-Jones from Stalybridge Celtic. He was a used substitute against Altrincham last Saturday when Celtic beat Alty 2-1.

The 23-year-old joined Wrexham in November 2012, having started out at Manchester City, before moving to Crewe Alexandra. He then played for Northwich Victoria and Irlam Town before his move to Wrexham. In summer 2015, he joined Macclesfield Town after a loan spell at the Moss Rose from Wrexham. When his contract expired at the Welsh club, he signed for the Silkmen.

Somewhat strange form another baffling defeat tonight at the hands of Winsford United 1-0.
The title was more or a less in the bag a couple of weeks ago, after the 4-1 win against Stourbridge on March 6th, since then it's all gone downhill with a couple of losses and a draw.

In the meantime Warrington Town have gone from strength to strength by picking up 3 wins and a draw. Gonna be a battle for the title now.

Shaw Lane are looking for a new management team after parting company with manager Paul Quinn and his backroom team on Saturday night.

Quinn, along with assistant manager Rob Wilson and coach Dave Thompson, were relieved of their duties at Sheerien Park within hours of the Ducks losing 2-0 at home to Nantwich Town in the EVO-STIK League Premier Division.

EVO-STIK League Buxton are hailing Liam Hardy as one of their finest after the hot-shot joined their select club of centurion strikers.

The former Armthorpe, Harrogate Town and Darlington frontman, bagged a late equalizer against Hednesford Town at Silverlands on Saturday with his second goal of the 2-2 draw to notch up his 100th goal for the Bucks. The 27-year-old became only the fifth player in the last century to score a century of goals for the Derbyshire club.

Currently in his fourth spell at the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club, Hardy is in illustrious company but has a long way to go to match his centurion predecessors.

Herbert Daniels led the way with 189 goals in just 122 games between 1928 and 1931 before winger Ralph White established himself as leading post-war scorer with 115 goals in 446 matches between 1945 and 1956.

Good striker Liam Hardy, we probably should have hung on to him for a little while longer. I don't think he fitted into Gray's plans when he got shot of him?
