I have this site as my home page and this is the first time Chrome has given me this warning following that link, anything to worry about?

I've had similar on Firefox - indicating the site's "security certificate" ran out today. I've assumed it will be dealt with in the next few days. If not, I'll give the site a miss for a while.

I don't have a clue if visiting this site as is now is safe or not, but I do know that I don't like the bit about pc's/laptops etc being vulnerable to attacks and ID theft.

I' think I'll heed Alan's advice and steer clear for the next few days. A shame really with the new season almost upon us, but whatever.

Thought it was just me. Seems some are seeing it and some aren't.

Any idea AFCB_Mark?

I refuse to click on any one of the SIXTEEN betting ads on the main page until this is fixed.

A message on Facebook from Saddlerad saying that they're still trying to contact TB as apparently he's the only one who can solve the issue, seems strange to me that there's no back up for situations like this.

"Unfortunately it appears our security certificate needs renewing. Neither Mark or myself have access to this and so we are waiting in the wings for TB to read his messages/communicate in order to move things forward and return to business as normal!"

Apologies,
Kind Regards
Saddler.

Yes some people are struggling with access, the security certificate of the site needs updating/re-purchasing. I’ve messaged TB numerous times, unfortunately he has only had chance to speak about 3 words to me since March and has been unavailable, so I will do my best to look into it later today but not sure if I can get into it or ‘do it’ - IE my knowledge may not get me that far. Apologies, will do my best.

Sorry chaps! Not been on since Thursday. Saddlerrad AFCB_Mark

Just to be clear; this website doesn't process payments and you don't submit any personal data (other than your password on here), so whilst we are of course renewing the certificate today, you don't need to have any real concerns over security recently.

Renewing now; allow a few hours.

Great. However in the meantime this forum has been unusable. Chrome requests permission EVERY time I've hit a new page. Thankfully Opera Mini only asks each time I enter the website.

Will be fixed overnight- the certificate has been renewed we are just waiting for the update to pull through.

Sit tight & sorry for letting this slip through the net,

Can assure you it is, aside from third party images which is a known issue with Xenforo. Will look into this to see if it's been resolved as yet.

Hint: Use https:// :)

As a side issue to the above concerns (which didn't affect me personally) A good %age of the times I log in I get a message along the lines of...'Oops there seems to be a problem'.....then something about security then I'm asked to refresh the page and try again which I do & it works.

Aware of that too, I'll be updating us to the latest version of the forum software shortly which hopefully will fix this issue. If it doesn't I will look deeper into it.

Cheers,
TB
