Notts, if it wasn't obvious are now in must win territory and not only that we have string a few together to be in with any chance of avoiding the drop.
Undefeated in 2 but worryingly we have only scored 5 goals in the last 7 and three of those came at Carlisle.

Exeter have been in the mix for promotion all season and that was started off when Notts rolled over at St James in a 5-1 home win.

Its possible JimO may be fit and Stead for that matter but I'd prefer Hemmings and Enzio up top, if not that Enzio on the left of midfield.

Its the anniversary of us winning the FA Cup 125 years ago and a tenner to get in.

We seem to be a lot better against the top teams and we will have to be, last week was dire this week has to be exceptional.

It's do or die. With Yeovil at MK a point may close the gap down if we were absolutely clutching at straws but wins or relegation is the reality. Sadly that all seems second fiddle to our dire need for the takeover to go through for now.

Thought your debt issues were sorted?

If by good you mean comparable to licking a cheese grater covered in lemons then sure.

I'd go licking a cheese grater covered in salt, that stings even thinking about it.

Apparently they are or at least "satisfied" that could mean a deal is going through and it will clear them all. Or Alan Hardy has paid them. Or we are about to go into administration and so the debts can't be paid.
The latter I doubt presently as that would have leaked days ago.

Huge game at both ends of the table, as is ours against the village people and Yeovils at MK. I wouldn't like to predict any of them. It'll certainly look a bit clearer come 5.00pm on Saturday.

Is super Jonny Forte in the Exeter side? Knowing our luck he’ll score while being 5 yards offside.

Just coming back from injury so will probably be on the bench as Bowman played well last wk, so will keep his place.

Think this will be a tight game and Notts do have to win so wouldn’t be surprised if we get beaten. We’ve got a good recent record at Meadow Lane and the big pitch should suit our game but I just don’t know which Exeter will turn up from one game to the next. Got to get some consistency....We’ve sold out our initial allocation of 320 so should be near 450 to make the trip which is solid.

Interesting , depends who you speak to . Plenty of fans in this league who have already previously experienced non league have said it ain’t bad with plenty of positives . So I’m hanging onto those words , words of experience

Hopefully Yeovil win anyway. That would be ideal, if completely unlikely

When you lose at home to Macclesfield you can't take anything for granted.
I'm sure Notts won't be allowed to go anything other than go 100% for this. An early goal for us would be vital and may crush any Notts ambition.

Last Saturday was good but we need to keep at that level. I expect Bowman to keep his place instead of Forte. He was excellent and deserved a goal. But our goals generally come from midfield.
I'll go 2-1 to us. Sorry Notts.

Think Notts might get something from this one - Seem to always do well against the top sides.

Although it's good to see Hiram and Troy coming back to fitness and if they can get the full 90 minutes we should get the 3 points.

He'll probably be on the bench.

Tough decision re whether we risk Troy Brown off the back of 10 mins last wk and 60 mins in the ressies. With O’Shea on international duty someone has to come in but we really don’t want to have to change the CB pairing mid match, so expect that Aaron Martin may get the nod to partner Moxey.

Martin started the season well but he's been a bit of a disappointment since. I think go with Troy, we know how solid he is. Maybe a risk but it's one I think Taylor needs to take

On that basis it is going to be an Exeter to win...

Forte on the bench is pretty standard tbh he’s really used to it .

As always for games such as this first goal huge . If Notts lose I need Exeter to go on a magical mystery tour and somehow get 3rd for financial reasons

I’m looking for at least two more Mansfield fans posting on this thread before kick off . You have an impressive average to maintain after all

Last two at home have been 0-0 against Port Vale and Morecambe, and a top team would probably have beaten us on either occasion (although Vale played well). By that logic you'd have to fancy Exeter unless we dramatically up our game - but we have been much better against the promotion chasers this season than our relegation rivals. This could well be a low-scoring draw, or a one-goal win either way. We'll probably have Jim O'Brien back at least, which is a boost.

Strong line up, both Hiram and Brown start which is great news for today and the rest of our reason. Pretty decent bench too. Hopefully we can get the 3 points with this team now we're finally back to full strength (Bar Dara)

What did Exeter have for their pre-match meal!?! Appear to have turned up with the sole intention of getting someone sent off, already had two or three bad ones then a guy on a yellow does that.

Referee is shite.

Bowman probably deserved to go, but Matt Jay was just blatantly hacked down and he gave nothing. Clear yellow. Inconsistent as fuck.

Sign of what was to come when he made us retake kick off. Twice.

Notts only seem to do well against good sides so a win here would be breaking that duck!

Bowman is an idiot.

But why is the ref plodding about the centre circle? Needs to actually keep up with the game!
