Slightly less hectic month with the international break. Comes at a shit time for us, just want to keep on playing games and carry on the momentum atm.

Burton (H) - 2-0 win.
Leeds (H) - 1-1 draw.
Palace (H) - 1-0 win.
Sunderland (A) - 0-1 win.
Fulham (A) - 2-1 loss.

7/12 and a cup win, would take that all day long.

Only the 3 games for us in October but some real tough ones!

Wolves (A) - 2-1 Loss
Fulham (H) - 3-1 Win
Birmingham (A) - 1-1 Draw

Would take 4 points from these for sure.

Going optimistic 10/12, only reckon we'll get something against Fulham as we seem to shithouse results at their place lately and are a bit of a bogey team for them at theirs it seems.

Two 0-0s and 8-2 to us at the Sty then? Lovely.

For the record, my expectations/hopes:

Wolves 1-1 Villa
Villa 2-1 Fulham
Birmingham 0-2 Villa

Funny but almost every prediction this season, most people have reckoned they will draw against us or beat us. Really, we should be bottom by now.

Villa win 2-0, Preston win 1-0, QPR win 1-0, Norwich draw 2-2

10 points, probs in 4th place by then as I can see Sheff Utd and Bristol City winning every game.

To be fair, the Sheffield Wednesday game will be out on DVD soon as 'Highlights of 2017/18'.

Ignoring the 2 Wolves wins and 2 draws predicted by opposition fans in this thread, yeah....

No, not even ignoring half of them.
(And that's about two draw predictions out of about maybe 30...going back)

LOL. I know. IIRC correctly the Bristol City fans were a bit more realistic. Plenty of predictions of the losses too, though, but still surprised at how overly optimistic most seem to be.

It's amusing how smug the Wolves fans are this season. We'll see how things look in a few months, eh?

People were predicting us to go down ffs, saying our foreign nobodies would flop in the Championship. Bearing in mind how things have turned out so far I wouldn't blame our fans for being smug to be honest.

Also since you are generalizing Wolves fans, what is so smug about my predictions in this thread?

Nothing about your predictions, Mark, but some of the stuff you were coming out with earlier in the season was ridiculously smug.

The signings flopping was always a chance, as it is with any team. We signed some safe signings last season in Elphick and McBigmac, and they flopped immensely, it can happen to risky signings or safe ones. Football is all about opinions, many thought Wolves would flop, I believe I had you just outside of the play-offs, and so far I've been surprised at how good you've been, but a lot of your fans have been incredibly overconfident imo this season.

For the record, I've only seen one person have you as going down in the pre-season predictions thread, I've seen it nowhere else, but I'll take your word for it that there's been others, of which I'm in no doubt, I've seen people having us to go down too, it happens. Cliché I know, but anything can happen in this division. :dk:

A lot of our fans? There is only 3 of us here and Herts isn't really the smug type. BMB doesn't post much either.

I don't have a problem with being smug if it pays off. I opened myself up to all the shit in the other thread when I said we definitely would go up. I'll happily take all the shit if we fail, but as we are playing at the moment I have no issue with our fans being smug. It's a nice change. We have had a decade of depressingly boring football so it's nice to finally see some decent football being played at Molineux.

If I was a Wolves fan I'd be lapping it up.

They've taken some gambles but Nuno's doing alright so far and they have some players like Jota, Costa etc that shouldn't really be playing in this division.

FWIW Villa fans are one of the most arrogant and fickle fanbases I've come across as well. You certainly fall into the fickle category Jase  Last week we had a conversation on Twitter about sacking Bruce, a week on and you've predicted 7/9 points from three very tough games.

Not a dig at all, football's a fickle game, I've been bouncing round the ground because Johnson said to this season, last season I wanted him nailed to a cross.

Things will go from bad to worse this month. Rowett will probably get sacked, because Mel Morris.

Forest (H) - LOSS
Sheffield (H) - LOSS
Norwich (A) - LOSS
Leeds (A) - LOSS

An absolutely horrific month. Last month I was being a tad ridiculous with my predictions, but there's a good chance we could lose all of these.

I've seen a fair bit of it on Twitter too, Mark, not the most reliable/sane place of course, but there we are.

He's done well to turn it around, oddly enough since he stopped playing with a 8-1-1 formation and switched it up to a 4-4-2, we've been far more successful. Hopefully we've clicked, and if you look at the last one of these threads I was optimistic too I believe. 4/4 (league) wins saves any manager their job, Saggy Faced 'Arry even said that Bruce was fearing for his job had we lost to Barnsley early in the month, that sparked 4 (league) wins in a row, so fair play to him for (so far) turning it around. I admitted on there that I looked a tit too, and I'm glad to have been made look one.

The fickleness of our fans I can certainly agree with, I was late in the calls for Bruce's head, some have been calling for it since we lost to Reading ffs. Arrogance, yeah, we all see that, as I said above, Twitter isn't the most reliable or sane place.

It annoys me that Villa and their team of individuals seem to have finally sorted themselves out, whilst we just get worse and worse. :(

Sadly JaseTheVillain I cannot be held accountable for a lot of our twitter users. It's the reason I avoid our fan forums like MolineuxMix. I find it boring if everyone has the same opinion on things.

I read the latter forum recently for a match thread against Cardiff. I would hazard a guess that 95% of the posters said we would win, and the other 5% said we would draw. We ended up losing. I could be a smug fucker on there instead but it will be all for nothing, at least on here I can be held accountable
