Reverse in fortunes for the two teams so far, with us losing in the league but winning in the cup and Posh winning in the league but losing in the cup. I tend to back us at home, however, and I'll go for a tight 2-1 victory, with a late Nichols winner.

Difficult to predict any game at this stage of the season.

We were poor against Charlton last week and didn't have a shot worthy of a mention or even create any decent chances despite playing against 10 men for nearly the entire game.

We looked better in the cup on Tuesday but that was against a L2 Cambridge side that made 9 changes to the team that played in their opening league match. It would therefore have been somewhat worrying if we hadn't looked a class above.

Posh were one of only a few sides to go away from the Mem with 3 points last season and they ended our play off hopes with another win (4-2) back in April. Bogey side? Well if they win again tomorrow I think you can start to class them as that.

I think it will be competitive but high scoring. I'm torn between 2-2 or a 3-2 win with a late Nichols winner as miagsygas says above.

Sorry Gas fans but you are in my accumulator this week so it's 2 defeats from 2 I'm afraid.

Better luck next week.

Given our lacklustre performance against you last week I'm surprised you've got us on your accy.

We played well and it's not always easy having to play ten men. You won convincingly at home in the week, your first home league game against a side who's fans don't seem confident this season and you were odds against so just seemed like decent value to me.

Peterborough are another bogey team I feel (without being bothered to look for evidence to back myself up) so I've just got a feeling we won't win this.

Always a high scoring game between us - final prediction 2-2 or 2-3

We're going to win today and put to bed any bogey team nonsense. With Sweeney back and Billy starting to fire I can only see a comfortable and stylish victory. 4-1 UTG:ds::)

Absolutely terrible first half. Embarrassing goal to give away. We haven't looked good on any part of the pitch. Peterborough are so much better organized it's unreal, they look like they have an extra 2 men on the pitch. Their passing and movement is way ahead of ours. We have no movement at all. Harrison has been poor as has Nicholls. Nicholls trying to score screamers all the time just giving away goal kicks.

We're playing terrible long ball - with Harrison only winning 3 headers so far (yes I've been counting) and we're giving away possession far too easily. Just poor all over the pitch, the players need a kick up the arse at half time that's for sure.

We're playing league 2 standard football, which is a compliment to how we were in the first half. We're not closing down anywhere near enough. Must say I'm not a fan of this concussion worry with head injuries. Whilst I admit we need better awareness and it must be checked out for player safety. It's getting annoying when players are rolling on the floor clinching their head, only for then the opposition passing back to our goalie and we start again, while the same player is already back on the pitch in tip top shape.

Absolutely dreadful. Worst performance I've seen in a long time. 4-1 was absolutely bang on. We made Peterborough look like Barcelona. We are in serious trouble this season unless something changes drastically. All 4 goals were due to horrendous defending.

I can't think of a single player who had a good game. Deserved boos at the final whistle. When does the transfer window close, end of the month? We need at least 1 striker, a winger and now at this rate, 2 full backs and a CM

We'll be alright mate. We always play like a bunch of c*** to start with. DC will be into 'em and it'll get better... honest.

Wow did not expect that, Thought we played pretty good too. Marriott looks some player not sure what Luton were doing with him as he looks way better than league 2.

As usual when I bet against Posh we go and do a win.

It seems like the Fergies style days are back, we were excellent going forward but a bit suspect at the back. How the Rovers player skied it from a yard i'll never know.

Grant absolutely bossed the midfield, Taylor and Tafazolli were excellent at the back and Marriott upfront was superb.

Not many negatives, Doughty bottled a couple of challenges and there was a tackle Grant did in the second half where if he wasn't already on a yellow he would have been carded.

I can see that working. Personally I'd swap Nichols for Telford and keep Smith in nets but that looks balanced especially away from home.
