have a good reputation but you've never seen play well...

For me one player who falls into this category is Tom Ince, i've seen him play against us maybe 5 or 6 times and not once has he ever had an impact on the game or stood out. Good goal scoring record though so i'm guessing he's just one of those 1 in 4 performers who can pop up with a long range strike now and then.

Yeah, Grealish is another, never impressed against us, not even for Notts County in L1.

Funny you should say Ince as he scores against us pretty much every time we face him and he even scored a hat-trick the other year.

Much like you with Ince, I appreciate he’s a very good player but I’ve seen Tom Lees play dozens of times but he’s never particularly stood out from memory.

Helder Costa another, TomPNE used to toss over him but I never really saw the hype.

Tom Ince just can’t handle the hostile Deepdale atmosphere, as I said.

Aden Flint and Pontus Jansson. Frauds.

Tom Ince is class at this level but I would say that having watched him 3 seasons straight.

Scott Hogan, Kodija and Adama Traore stick out.

Mepham another player i've seen a few times where he's been the grey man and has gone for a massive fee so I don't know. Must be clueless.

Kodjia has been truly awful against us since leaving.

Don't get the hype around grealish either, not seen Jarrod Bowen have a good game when I've seen him either

Two of the league’s best there mate, need to watch them more closely.

I’ve got one - Hegazi, fucking woeful football. Richard Keogh another, and that Polish winger at QPR can’t remember his name.

gotta agree but slightly biased , Jansson is 1 of the best CBs in this division, I admit last season he looked awful compared to his 1st season where he looked superb under Monk, this season he's back to his best

so just admit you watched him last season only Tom you fucking twat

and as JJH said if we had Aden Flint along side him, we might aswell call the league off now, there'd be a cb goal every fucking game

Jansson’s a machine, best in the division when he’s on it.

I’ve got another as well, great game this SF... Guendouzi at Arsenal, looked absolute litter everytime I’ve watched him.

I think Flint must just not be great against certain teams, but must boss others. Clearly has talent as loads of clubs rate him, but most Brentford and Preston fans don’t seem to.

He’s clearly brilliant in the air and can stand up to any strong strikers who try to bully him, but we just don’t play that way so generally he doesn’t look that good.

You’ve got Sky haven’t you? We were on 9 times in 8 weeks last week when we were playing our best stuff and Flint was an 8/9 out of 10 pretty much every week.

Sounds like a bit of a theme there to me.. both teams that play good, technical football on the ground.. flint struggles against those sort of teams imo.. teams that play more direct he cleans up with ease

Costa is shit.

In this league there was Chris Mepham, absolute shite whenever I've seen him in person or TV, no idea how Brentford got 10m+ for him.

Tom Ince, Jordan Rhodes, Britt Assombalonga, James Chester, Richard Keogh...

ADAMA TRAORE

Genuinely haven’t seen him play well. Can clearly see he’s got physical attributes that will no doubt put him above others but every time I’ve watched him live he’s all over the shop. Couldn’t trap a bag of sand.

Richard Keogh’s an interesting shout. More of a cult hero than an over-rated player, hence his 1.6 million pound transfer in comparison with the company he’s listed with.

Does Richard Keogh have a good rep? car crash whenever I see him, seems to think he can play like Pique.

That Hegazi was crap at Deepdale but he was asked to play football which he is incapable of.

Didn't realise Pawel Wszolek had a rep either way to say he is good or not.

Keogh's decent at this level, really good for 43/44 games a season but he'll lose you a couple through either overplaying or a mistake. Show me a defender who's level is the Championship that doesn't do that though.

The QPR play off final the obvious evidence, people forget how good he was during that whole season and also 14/15 when he was in the league team of the year. He's had a good season again this time out, couple of clangers but to be expected.

You seen Boro play? i'd expect a good record with two rows of defenders.

Sergio Aguero. I missed the game he scored a hat trick against us at the Ethiad. Every time I’ve seen him live against us (probably about 5-6 times) he’s done nothing.

He must be absolutely abysmal at the heart of by far and away the best defence in the division.
Just going off what Boro fans have said, one I saw the other day said "the worst player to ever pull on a Boro shirt" haha

Well that’s just fucking silly isn’t it SMH.

I’ve only attended one FA Cup final and it was your win against City. The things I took away from that game were: Aguero was class but couldn’t score, Gareth Barry is done at elite teams and Callum McManaman absolutely tore City a new arsehole.

I can’t remember much else bar a ginger bagging the winner from a corner and singing you are my sunshine but you could see Aguero was class in person that day. The fact you did a job on them doesn’t mean we can ignore their quality, despite a lot of it not shining through on the day.

I can hack Tom Ince, Richard Keogh etc but not Sergio. You could half pay attention to any MOTD and see his quality.
