At least Pisano Wright Baker Magnusson is a fair enough back 4 if they are all fit.
Emphasis on IF mate. If Eros and Baker are still out, we're in deep trouble.
Ah well, at least we can't go down.

Don't think either team deserved to lose that, Bristol City are a decent side but you've got to take chances at this stage of the season and luckily for us Sean Maguire is unreal

Proper dug in and ground out a massive 3pts.

Also, considering the ref was handing out yellows like Haribo, it's an absolute joke Josh Brownhill wasn't given a second for hacking down our player near the halfway line.

Game on, on to another massive one against Fulham.

First goal wasn't against the run of play, we started the game really well but Bristol City were settling into it before their shit defender messed up. Beautiful finish by Browne mind.

That Gashead you got doesn't seem up to much does he. Maguire on the other hand looks like a great player.

Fair play PNE, I don't get wound up by playing you or Cardiff or sides like that anymore, we rarely get anything against you so there's no point in having your piss boiled by the opposition, problems lie closer to home.

Wasn't expecting anything tonight, games Saturday for both of us, at least we're both in a position where we're up here competing. Let's have it.

I thought we played really well for the first 15. Then Bristol got on top and we scored against the run of play. A very even first half I think.

Second half we sat back a lot and I thought Bristol played some good stuff tbh and I don't think we played well at all. Luckily Maguire made the difference in a very big 3 points.

I don't think we deserved the win and van imagine the Bristol City fans are feeling a bit hard done by.

We only sat back in the second half when Gallagher went off.

It was a good game I thought, both keepers made a quality save each and Barkhuizen should have put the game to bed from 6 yards out.

For Bristol City I was impressed with the number 9 and Joe Bryan, although Bryan was very lucky not to get 2 yellow cards. Flint was a cock to do that and get himself sent off at 2.1 down.

I know you Brizzle lot love Brownhill but honestly, I’ve watched you 6/7 times this season and he’s done absolutely fuck all every single time. I appreciate he’s playing out wide (and even RB tonight for a bit) but he’s just utterly anonymous. Jordan gave me a lot of stick a while ago for saying Browne is the better of the two but I think I was proven right tonight, Browne best player on the park and ran the show.

Browne deserved man of the match for me aswell, outstanding again. Ben Davies just gets better game by game aswell.

Agree on Brownhill, Browne's the better player. I've never been impressed by Pack either and wasn't again tonight.

To be fair, I rate Pack really highly and wanted us to sign him when he was at Cheltenham. Didn’t have a great game tonight though.

He just always seems to have a mistake in him whenever I've seen him. He gave the ball away a lot tonight.

You didn't watch him against Man City? Comfortable and composed in two games against some of the best players in the world, I thought. Class player, with a bright future, not at his best out wide though.

Pack is a strange one.. never seems to do much but when he isn't there, you realise what he brings to the team.

As for tonight, I don't care if it was undeserved, we've still found a way to shoot ourselves in the foot yet again. Hate football.

I don't think you can say any player in a 40% possession team 'ran the show' but hey ho. Maybe Pearson at a push defensively the niggly little sod that he is .
Brownhill is definitely not a winger that's for sure.

Pearson was poor tonight in my opinion. Might get slated for saying this but he can be a bit of a liability to me at times. Always booked. Always diving in and when he doesn't win the ball it leaves us very vulnerable.

Browne did run the show tonight. Lads class

It's very rare that he doesn't win the ball though. If he won the ball everytime he went to make a tackle and didn't get booked he wouldn't be playing for us.

I think a few of his bookings lately have been harsh, almost like the ref thinks that if they book him early it will make his day a bit easier.

Stats are bollocks though and can be twisted to suit an agenda. Take last night, the majority of your fans claim you dominated, yet we had more shots, 15 to your 9. We're apparently a dirty team yet commited less fouls, 14 to your 19.

Wright and Magnusson are league one defenders, and I don't think I'd even want Magnusson in league one. Derrick Williams was far more solid.

Brownhill's not a winger Tom he's just playing there because Smith and Pack's partnership has been so successful for years and Brownhill's too good to leave out of the side.

I know they're different players but I'd rather have Brownhill than Browne, Brownhill has a couple of years on Browne as well.

And LeylandWhite you should probably watch us more if you don't rate Pack. Probably our most consistent player.

They're the same age (22).

Like I said, it's whenever I've seen him which isn't as much as what you lot see him obviously. I'd take our midfield over yours though for definite.

Fair enough, thought Brownhill was 21 and Browne was 23.

I wouldn't. I'd have Pearson and Johnson here but if Gallagher and occasionally Welsh gets into your midfield so would Pack, Smith and Brownhill as they're all better players.

Gallagher's a very good player, best passer of the ball we've got. His set piece delivery last night was top quality again. It's a shame he's not 10 years younger really.

Still not over Saturday?

Thought you'd care about SU more but seemingly not. They won't get anything at Fulham tonight imo so if we win the gap will widen.
I was over Saturday at 5pm that day, Boro will get the play offs so hoping PNE get in ahead of Derby, Berties and yourselves.

Can't see it changing from how it is now in honesty, Derby should be fine.

Always has been, was happier to be facing him than Johnson last night though.

You judge him from his time at your club though which is daft. Wasn't even 20 when he was playing for you, he was outstanding for Barnsley and has been brilliant for us. I wouldn't swap Browne for Brownhill.

I judge him whenever I see Bristol City too and he's still tidy but generally a bit of a passenger, hasn't developed anywhere near as well as Browne. Still has very little presence too, his tackles/ fouls are just generally little snidey ones.

We bully your midfield every time and Brownhill doesn't even get a game for you in the middle of the park ahead of Pack or Smith.

Not a passenger at all, been influential for us at times this season.

Pack and Smith have been so successful playing with each other this season, it's without a doubt our best midfield pairing.

I was perhaps wrong about Browne as he's having a good season it seems but I personally wouldn't swap the two, several other of your players that I'd have here before him. Johnson, Maguire, Fisher etc etc.
