We won away to FC Basel 1-2 this afternoon, Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Rafa Mir and Diogo Jota with the goals. A good run around for us against opposition 2 weeks ahead of us in pre season.

There is a World Cup coming to its conclusion, England are in the semi-finals and you are posting about Wolves pre-season friendlies.

Pre-season friendlies mean absolutely fuck all at the best of times when there is no other football going on, let alone at this moment.

I'm not surprised this isn't a hotbed of discussion right now.

Sorry, I forgot I'm talking to an armchair plastic fan. Believe it or not other football does exist away from what ITV or BBC are showing on your TV over the summer.

Won the Uhren Cup after an impressive 4-0 win over Swiss champions Young Boys. Nice trophy for a pre season tournament

We drew 0 - 0 with Bury today!

Everton on the other hand won 22 - 0, I think we have our favourites for the PL this season lads! :D

1-1 draw with Sevilla in Spain. Ben Yedder for them and Jordon Ibe for us.

At least Karius didn't concede
True and Curtis Jones looked excellent by all accounts, so positives and all. Klopp said the players were tired, too much running them into the ground in those training sessions I expect.

I hope you lot bin that trophy, we can't have visitors to Wolves trophy room think its the European Cup! No no no! ;)

I get the feeling you are going to be throwing that 'insult' around a lot in this part of the forum in the coming season.

Playing Blackburn tonight. With Ward off to Leicester, Mignolet not back from holiday; it looks like poor old Karius will be given the nod tonight as he faces being #2 from now on.

We kick off our pre season in the early hours against a Mexican side who's manager happens to be this legend from the 2014 World Cup. Here's hoping he approaches friendlies with the same passion as he does competitive matches.

Beat Blackburn 2 -0 at Ewood tonight. First half was very meh, nothing much to speak of and not much intensity on show. Second half a different side came out, and we looked a lot sharper. Markovic - yes Markovic, gets the opening goal and he had a decent game in fairness. Sturridge got the other, though he had three great chances from lovely balls through to him from that wee beast Keita - what a player he is looking - and some more of the first teamers got a run-out.

Off to Trumpland now, for the money friendlies.

After a 1-1 with Sevilla we've beaten Levante 4-3 with a reserve side. Gonna piss this tinpot league, etc.

We just got pumped 3-0 away to Derby.

Safe to say I'm delighted I didn't renew my season ticket. The same shite players, making the same shite mistakes as last season. Another struggle in a very average league (outside the top 6) awaits.

His confidence is completely shattered. Odd how he could go from January until May (bar that one game) without making any mistakes and now he can't go 45 minutes without making one.

It can be a tough road when you are made to walk alone, in my unbiased opinion.
