I hope he's improved Nightmare as he struggled for us at this level.
I met him a couple of times and he's a nice lad so I wish him well.
Out of interest, do you think you are better prepared for the Championship than you were a couple of years ago?

Yes, I think we’ll surprise a few people this season. We’re building on solid foundations for once, with the help of successful business people, a top coach and training staff, not just at first team level but at all age levels, our scouting network, players analysts, and recruitment team are getting it right time and time again, and now the chairman and ceo are getting the players contracts right too. Our house is in order and I honestly believe we’ll see the effects of that on the pitch in the coming years.

We will have to steal your manager then before August is out.

Anyone with half a brain will stay well clear of your club, it’s a circus ran by clowns.

Don't be so precious, you can have Winnall back if you really want he's just not that good.

No keep him, I’d much rather he stayed there taking up 18k of your budget every week, means you can’t bring in anyone else.

Doesn't matter if we don't bring anyone else in, we'll dispatch your shit at S6 as per usual.....

Our squad, even now, is superior in almost every position.

Awwww how sweet you're cosying up to the Dingles, the Millers broke up with you?

PS despite us being shite last season you couldn't beat or score against us.

We couldn't beat Swansea either, or Bristol city or stoke but guess what all 4 are still in the championship. ;)

Lost 1-0 again last night. This time to La Liga side Granada. Another game where we created sod all. Apart from the 10 goals we scored against a pub side that's just 2 goals in 5 friendly's and 1 of them was a penalty.

Got 2 friendly's left. Peterborough and Chelsea both at home.

Won 3-2 against Holsten Kiel, were 2-0 down but Rhodes and a Fletcher double turned it around. Seems that we've finally found a way for Rhodes to start scoring, hope he can take it into the league. Espanyol at Hillsborough next week then we can get on with the real stuff.

You couldn't ask for an easier start in the league too. Reading , Barnsley, millwall and Luton. 4 teams you would say will be towards the bottom. 9/5 at reading looks a healthy opening day bet.

MK Dons are 11/10 at Bury, stick everything you own on it and retire with the winnings. I managed to get Wycombe at 4/5 against Bolton as well but since come in to about 8/13.

1-1 draw with at Ibrox today.Rangers better team in the first half with Defoe scoring for them and Rovers having the better of the second with an equaliser from Travis, not a bad run out against a team already into their competitive fixtures this season.

We'll get 4 points from those 4 now you've said that.

We could take the Man City team to Hillsborough and still lose.

They’ve got 4 players at the club, they’ve been kicked out of their training ground and aren’t playing any friendlies. Same with Bolton, the odds are ridiculous.

I’ve gone big on both and doubled them up, not sure what their policy is if the games are forfeited which I suspect they both will be but we shall see.
