Lost 0-1 to a Freddie Sears penalty against a fairly strong Ipswich side. What looks close to the first choice 11 played for 60 minutes and while looking fairly comfortable at the back, we looked powder puff going in a forward direction. A bit of a worry that Sam Nombe picked up an injury as while Sow and Aneke continue to camp in the treatment room he is probably the only alternative to Agard (god help us).

We FINALLY managed to score some goals tonight in a 1-4 away win at Boston. Even more pleasing that Andrade got two and McCartan got one along with Harry Anderson. Only about 4 first teamers with lots of trialists so that's quite pleasing as Boston are going to be a decent outfit with the players they have signed.

It’s always hard in those circumstances who’s correct and who’s not. The way 1FF conducted himself was embarrassing - he’d be better off focusing on actually controlling the ball before starting anything else.

Hope it doesn’t sour the relationship between our 2 clubs, as it’s always been a positive one.

Wasn't there so cannot comment, apparently by accounts from our clearly biased lot he was booted about a fair bit and finally kicked back

Away at Hereford tonight, nine quid to stand seems a tad too much for a psf. Maybe I'm living in the past though, think it was more than a fiver at Brimscombe and Thrupp. Wouldn't have thought we'd be a massive draw for the home support either to justify a higher price.

We shared the spoils at top, TOP Conference side Ebbsfleet last night - 2-2. The squad was mostly made of kids/reserves plus 4 or 5 regular starters (or to put it better, I think those 4/5 will be in the starting line up in the season's opener at Vale).

We've got another game tonight at Dagenham, another TOP connie side. Win this and I'll really start to believe we're in for a good year. Those lovely boys at the D3D4 HQ have us down for 6th place, but I think we can go one better (or three) and make the top 3

We beat a fairly decent Chorley side 1-0 last night. Most of our pre-season performances have been a bit patchy, but I think we have got enough quality in the squad to have a reasonable season.
