We just beat Bayern 3-0 in their own pre-season tournament. Sturridge with the highlight, coming on late, scoring a beauty and coming off injured all within ten minutes. Atlético tomorrow in the final. It's good fun but you couldn't care less about these things to be honest.

Comfortable 4 - 0 win away at Bayern (I'm counting that Grujic goal), but really feel for Daniel. Haven't seen Liverpool play so far in preseason until tonight and I was hearing good things about him that he looked sharp and fit, and when he came on he looked pacey and looked to have lost a couple of pounds; but to then get injured immediately after that fine finish is terrible. Hope its not serious.

It's a goal, Lallana wasn't to know the cross would be shifted onto an oncoming Grujic behind him to slot it away. If friendlies are meaningless anyway then I can have that goal.

Btw that's the first time I've took notice of Kent after hearing how he can skip past people and he didn't disappoint.

Yeah, watched this match, it was broadcasted live at Sky Sport News HD in Germany. Funny the interview before the match with David Wagner and Hannes Wolff. Both are pals and were at Dortmund together.
Stuttgart dominated the first half but in the 2nd they let it slip a bit. No wonder, it's still nearly 3 weeks until the start of the season.

btw: Bayern even lost the match for 3rd at their own Audi Cup 0-2 against Napoli. That's now 4 losses in the last 5 friendlies. Interesting to see how they'll react for the German Super Cup on Saturday against Dortmund. (James injured, out for several weeks).

Later I am watching Liverpool vs Atletico. Hope the Reds will perform like yesterday and beat the Spaniards...yeah it's only a friendly but ....
