You think the reason we lost to Bradford is because Shepherd is playing? Nonsense. They were more physical than us and 2 of their 3 goals came from the other side of the pitch! You've said you only go to Saturday games. Shepherd has played a total of 45 minutes in Saturday games. So you've seen the guy play for a maximum of 45 minutes and now you will only feel optimistic if he plays?!

In 45 minutes he's convinced me he should be playing ahead of Lopes, he shows an iota of ability to defend

2 of Bradford's 3 goals came from the other side where the other attacking player was playing at wing back. Playing players out of position consistently doesn't work, it never has and never will. The better teams will exploit this.

You realise we've played 4-4-2 for the last 2 games right? And we played that formation in the game you're claiming you went to on Saturday? So now you want to drop Edwards too? The guy who has clearly been our most consistent player this season.

I would suggest after 13 games and 5 points clear of the team in 3rd might suggest we are better than you think, Iam sure Blackburn Bradford, Posh were not expecting to lose yesterday so on the face of it whilst drawing with Plymouth might seem disappointing it was a good point and I am sure the above teams will wish they did the same yesterday against lower opposition. As for playing above our normal level well I think the 14 players Hurst brought in are proving they are better than some so called experts on this message board. Of course we shall lose sooner than later no doubt some are hoping we lose 4 or 5 on the bounce and if we did, it probably will be likely that Blackburn will still be behind Shrewsbury and possibly Rotherham as well.

In fairness Rotherham look the real deal now, far better team than I was expecting at the start of the season. Blackburn and Charlton should improve and be up there but we'll see.

Wigan will win the league by March, and hopefully we'll be up there fighting for second. I'll take Shrewsbury seriously if they are still top 4-5 at the end of January.

Reckon the burden is on the chasers tbh. Can't talk shit about them slipping up when, bar Wigan, the points gap between themselves and the rest of the division is so big. If they maintain midtable form from now until the rest of the season they should breeze into the playoffs. Can't say the same about any of those other 22 sides.

I agree with that in the main, but don't know why they would take issue with fans 'disrespecting' them. I'd happily let others be complacent if it were us in that position. Reminds me of us under Parkinson where everyone said how lucky we were, or how shit we were. Never understood our fans/and fans of other teams who take it as a personal insult when people insult a club, who gives a shit in reality?
