View attachment 7752 Whatever your thoughts on Cardiff's style of football, I'm sure we can agree there is no place for this. Vile.

These days pictures can always make things look a lot worse imo. Maybe he meant that but I doubt it and I'd be surprised. Obviously we don't know though. Some players do go in to hurt others but it's rare.

I think the media scrutiny will be on Cardiff now though, since it was on the BBC. We had the same when in the Premier League and Karl Henry was sent off every other game. Because we had the 'dirty' tag, referees would look the other way when our players were taken out. We had clear penalties not given that season thanks to the likes of Danny Murphy crying about the likes of Wolves/Stoke/Blackburn just turning up to kick lumps of shit against the opposition. It sounds silly, but in the age of social media, and nearly every game covered by some sort of footage, it can affect the referees interpretation of the game.

Well either way, to go in like that with studs up is either malicious or just incredibly reckless.

Outside of that challenge though, going mental at Cardiff is tiresome. Warnock's been around for years, everyone knows how his teams set up.

If a city player had done that to a Cardiff player it wouldn't get a mention. It's a contact sport and injuries happen, I don't agree going in to really hurt someone but there ain't nothing wrong with being a physical side and giving it out a bit. Remember agueros challenge on luiz was it, that was seriously trying to hurt someone. Pep guardiola can fuck off for me the moaning soft twat, what did he say about that one last season

Agree about Guardiola being a soft twat. When we played them he blamed not being able to score because they use a different football from the Premier League to the Carabao Cup.

Hopefully that happens to Cardiff. Then all the shit they’ve gotten away with already this season eventually evens itself out.

Mate how can you argue with that? Watch it in real time, the ball has gone miles past and he’s gone for Sane’s leg. Soft or not, that’s fucking horrible.

There has been some tough teams over the years. I weren't about to see the Leeds team from the 70s. Wimbledon were a dirty lot, Bolton were another one who were very physical. Stoke, Blackburn.

Look at my post just above after I'd watched it. It's a poor poor challenge, just that pep has soon forgot about agueros shocking challenge which he said there was nowt wrong with, now he's going on about protecting players.

Biggest joke was that it was given a yellow so the ref made the judgement it wasn't worth a red.

Great night for us. Last minute winner against a play off rival, and all our other rivals failing to win.

Yeah good for us. A draw at Bramall Lane might have been better but I'm liking the look of that nice gap between us and 7th. Bolton and Sunderland now, real chance to consolidate that top six spot and maybe push even higher.

Burton and blues next for us. Anything can happen, but a great chance to continue our winning run.

2nd is gone for us now, it’s all Villa’s. We’ve just got to make sure we stay in the playoff places.

Second isn't gone for anybody. Plenty of twists and turns to come. A month ago, Villa looked like they wouldn't even make the playoffs, now they are favorites for second. Sheffield United and Leeds seem to have dropped out of contention whilst Fulham have come from nowhere to be potential outsiders for second. In another 30 days, I'm sure the picture will have changed again.

Everyone down to Norwich in 13th still have everything to play for.

Im just glad we’ve already got enough points for survival, else it’d be a concern.
