How much is down to Powell and what went wrong for him? Seemed to be a much better manager than he's showing now.
We've had our worst season regarding injuries since I've been supporting us it's unbelievable has a side ever had 4 players do their ACL's in one season, add to that a Broken leg among many others and we've had to use the u23 side all season. Some of his tactics have been questionable but I'm not calling for him to be sacked like a lot of fans are. I just want to get this season over with L1 status intact and give him another go at it next season with a full squad. A lot of fans have forgot once he came in last season we we 20th and then we went on to have 4th best form in league for the rest of the season.

Not really had the chance to get a settled run in the side due to a couple of injuries (shock) but when he has been fit I've liked him much better than other dross we have on the wings.

Do you think you’ll buy him in the summer?

Our game with you at Kenny early in the season I remember thinking you looked a really good side. We scored an early goal but recall after it we were really under pressure you were properly pinging the ball around that night and looked like a good footballing side, if lacking some cutting edge in the final 3rd.

I recall walking away thinking if that's the standard of an average League 1 side we might be in trouble here!

Win or bust for us at Oxford, a win leaves us just a point behind them, lose and the gap is realistically too big. Relying on our good record Vs Karl Robinson to see us through, 1-0 away win.

You were not relegated by a referee. The decision was clearly (eventually) correct. Solihull Moors play in Solihull.

Can't believe how tight it is in League One, will go down to the last day I imagine.

Well This is fun. Still difficult for us but other than Luton 7 of our remaining games are winnable..

Anyone from 12th down could still get relegated.

O’Brien doesn’t touch the ball at the end, he’s taken out (a soft penalty granted), either way the defender gets the last touch but a goal kick given - not correct. Oxford will argue the other way, fair enough, so the facts - Goal kick is taken with a player lying in the six yard box and at least three others in the box too, against the rules, not correct. The goal kick doesn’t go out of the box, against the rules, not correct. We played badly and I’m not saying we deserved to win and I don’t care if I’m splitting hairs but the Oxford goal came from at least two wrong decisions.

Well with Karl Robinson on the touchline the officials must feel some pressure .

Well after he allowed the goal kick to be taken (twice) against the rules as above, Oxford go up the other end and score, before we can kick off the ref changes his mind, and goes back up to our end to readdress his mistake, talks to one linesman, talks to the other lines man, changes his mind again and awards Oxford the goal after all.

Worst side I've seen all season by far. If it wasn't for our poor finishing (26 shots before we scored) we'd have been out of sight and this "discussion" would be irrelevant.

As it is, I think you're talking out of your arse, and clutching at straws. The goal stands and if the referee (who was looking at the supposed foul and the subsequent goal kick) had seen anything wrong he'd have stopped play there and then rather than carry on for another 45 seconds or so during which time we scored. It was the interference of the useless linesman, who'd done nothing all afternoon until that point, that caused the subsequent confusion. The referee was then too weak and tried to please everybody which led to the chaos that then ensued.

Also, how the fuck can Jack Paine not get in your shambles of a team?

You lot, and your manager, need to read up on the laws of the game. It's not an offence to take a goal kick with players still in the box as long as they dont interfere with the game, as they clearly didnt.
The referee, and the linesman closest to your fans also need to, as it was their dithering which led to the confusion, which wasnt clarified to them until the ref eventually spoke to the linesman on the far side.

Also, your manager said your forward stated that he didn't even touch the ball, when clearly he did by the direction his woeful shot took, and his non claim for a corner. I think how bad his effort was explains the players later claim.

Your manager was try to clutch at every straw going, probably to try to cover a very bad performance.

Thought this myself. Been plenty of examples where an outfield player has taken a goal kick with the GK still in the box.

Frankly it’s one of those silly laws that needs to be removed.

The Bradford fan is quite simply talking nonsense.

In this video from one of those Generation X types who needs to film everything rather than just immerse themselves in the experience, at around 9 minutes, you can see not one of your own fans appealed against the fact it was a goal kick. Simply "how did you miss that"

Other users can make their own minds up watching this clip

I'm sorry but you can't say you were relegated by the referee today. Your players switched off after a terrible miss and Oxford took advantage.

I'm still less than convinced the Mighty Ox will stay up by the way, over 50 points will be needed.

I stand corrected, just seen the opposition players have to be outside the box. There were 4 Bradford players inside, goal should never have stood. Just seen the clip of the fiasco aswell, refereeing down here is abysmal.

Even Karl Robinson admitted it was harsh so it must have been a right old farce.

Mind you he'd probably say that now i guess as it went Oxford's way.

Although it must be hard being a fan of any team in the bottom half right now, as a neutral I'm loving the action at the moment and hope it goes to the last day.

Again, not correct. Opposition players can be in the box when the kick is taken, as long as them doing so does not put the defending team at a disadvantage, which they obviously didnt in the case.
The only slight possibility for re taking the kick is if the left back received the ball in the area and there is no indication (from video footage, or the linesman flagging at the time, or players) that he did so.

Therefore, a perfectly good goal.

Here are the rules, maybe yourselves and the officials can have a read and actually learn them.

Can see why there’s confusion, even the official laws are ambiguous.
