Didn't realise you had so many under contract. I'm assuming most are Jolley signings now?

All except Reece Hall-Johnson, Harry Cardwell and Akheem Rose and the latter two have already extended their contracts under Jolley. RHJ we think has been offered terms. There shouldn’t really be any excuses for Jolley should we do worse than/the same as this season.

Yeah we've done ours. Looks like clear-out time again.

Released
Jason Kennedy
Gary Liddle
Anthony Gerrard
Peter Grant
Richie Bennett
Arthur Gnahoua
Gary Miller
George Glendon

Retired
Danny Grainger

Offered new contracts
Louis Gray
Stefan Scougall
Mike Jones
Tom Parkes
Jamie Devitt

Extensions Triggered
Adam Collin
Kelvin Etuhu
Hallam Hope

Contracted
Liam McCarron
Macaulay Gillesphey

First year Pros
Jarrad Braithwaite
Josh Dixon
Keighran Kerr
Charlie Birch

Loanees returned to parent clubs
Joe Fryer
Callum O'Hare
Connor Simpson
Regan Slater
Nathan Thomas

So basically we've currently got 5 senior players contracted for next season along with the youths. Devitt has attracted interest from the SPL. The release of Kennedy will be a disappointment for many but the harsh reality is that a player who hasn't been match-fit now for two years was always likely to be thanked for his services and wished the best of luck for the future. The only other ones to be released who some might have kept are Gerrard and Liddle.

So, there we go, all the players released are ones we should be able to replace. Of the loanees, we'll probably enquire about O'Hare to Villa but they won't loan him out again in League Two while Nathan Thomas I'm more positive about as both club and player have discussed the possibility depending how it goes with Sheffield United. Sadly I think we'll likely lose Devitt and maybe one or two of the others and in a repeat of this time last year the board have warned we need to cut costs... again.

Our retained list is out on Wednesday apparently. Doubt they'll be any major shocks and it won't be a big list.

Expecting us to announce we're negotiating with Ben Garratt, George Ray and Jordan Bowery and no conclusion has been reached with them. Can see Oli Finney getting a new deal straight away.

Michael Raynes and Alex Nicholls will be released. After those 5, who knows, the rest are fringe teamers who could stay as cheap U23 options or could get released. Who knows? We're always very shock free when it comes to our retained list.

Wouldn't mind Raynes back here next season, bit lumbering with the ball on the deck but was a decent head it kick it defender for the few games we had him.

Plymouth have released their young midfielder, Dan Rooney, which seems to have annoyed some of their fans as he’s highly rated and had a good loan spell at Truro in the National League South...Would like us to have a look considering he’s local and we could do with more midfield depth.

Foley was very good for us in league one. Just a relegation hoodoo on him having gone down three times in four seasons with Yeovil, Vale and Northampton!

I’d have him back.

He's my one surprise, although his release maybe age based. Had another good game on Saturday as well. Don't think he will be without a club for long.

Luke Croll has just tweeted he’s leaving us. Had loads of injuries but at times looked a capable CB. Wish him well.

Suspect our full list will come out today.

Wouldn't mind looking at Aaron Collins, although with his form, he'll probably get way better financial offers and from teams higher up the pyramid as well.

Ben Garratt has been released after spending too long on his contract offer. Quite brutal from Artell, as a club we tend to let the academy players mull over contracts for eternity. Could prove a mistake to go into the season with Richards and Jaaskelainen as our keepers imo.

The rest as expected.

Can't see Bowery signing and to be honest not fussed if he doesn't. But with Ray, Bowery, Garrett, Raynes and Nichols all leaving that frees up some good wages for new additions.

Is Ben Garrett all that? Remember Crewe fans talking like he was the best thing (at least had the potential to be) since sliced bread the last time we were down here, fast forward five years or so and he’s still a L2 keeper who’s now been let go.

A few years ago he was immense for his age and even England youth system held him in high regard. Over the last 18-24 months his progression has basically come to a stand still and he’s also had wobbles and spells of dropping howlers.

Problem is keepers are never going to thrive with us. We don’t put the same time into them as outfield players and only recently employed a goalkeeping coach at the club (possibly a requirement of EPPP?). I mean, Dario once called Joe Hart too small to make it ffs.

I still rate Garratt, far better than what we’ve been left with. I’d expect him to sign for another L2 club if not a lower L1 club and he’ll do fine for whoever it is.

Any of the under contract lot transfer listed? Otherwise it seems that Calderwood's happy keeping most of the squad, which would be unusual considering where you finished.

It's not been documented that any are listed but out of the contracted players the only ones we would ideally like to move on would be Lambe, O'Neil, Louis John and Jabo. I've heard Jabo has a better offer elsewhere and is off.

The failure of our season simply come down to lack of goals and only having three strikers from Aug to Jan. Jabo (passed it), Barry Corr (playing with one knee) and Ade Azeez (He is a 1 on 6 striker).

We must sign four strikers this summer and if we get it right Calderwood will finish mid table. We were shipping goals left, right and centre until he come in and has made us more solid.

Halliday and Maris will go - we only offered them deals so we'd get some money from a tribunal. The only baffling decision is offering Gary Deegan a deal. He's a conference player at best.

Can add Shaun Miller to that list, who is now free to leave if he can find another club.

Thought jack bridge at Northampton was highly rated.?

He is by me, the few games he played in the No 10 role I thought he did well, Keith Curle didn't seem to rate him and played him wide where I thought that he was wasted and not able to show more.
Jack and Sam Foley were my surprise releases from us, although Sam may have been based on his age, but I thought that he could still do a job. He did well in our last game at cOldham...
