That'll potentially be a shitstorm for any new manager when they start.

If they ever start, after thinking this take over was at the finishing line it seems it’s still up in the air. We have no chairman, chief executive, financial officer, manager or goalkeeper coach amongst others, a first team squad of 19 with 3 of them potentially in Spanish custody.

Or will it end up like the Leicester Manga stuff a few years ago ?

The Leicester incident was with prostitues wasn’t it? They were abusive and racist rather than rapists, I think.

Obviously don’t know any details but from that article I would say this is more like the Ched Evans case. Stupid sleazeballs taking advantage of a drunk girl, if it did indeed happen of course.

Not that it matters really as the club’s name is going to be further dragged through the mud but I hope it’s not going to turn out to be first team players.

What a few years to be a Charlton fan. Used to be a club to be proud of.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild.

Innocent until proven otherwise and all that but what a couple of knuckleheads.

Was the 3rd person involved with the club or just one of their friends?

Reports say the third man isn't a footballer so assume just a friend.

If they are guilty they shouldn't play football again IMO.

If they are guilty they should never walk the streets again, let alone play football.
As the father of a couple of young girls if it were my daughter I would cut their fucking bollocks off!

Do you think Bowyer will walk if a new owner doesn't come in soon?

Really couldn’t say. Up until about an hour ago I would have said there will come a point when Bowyer tells him to shove it.

However, the other day Bowyer told the press that Patrick Bauer has been offered a new contract and is definitely staying. Bauer has now just tweeted that his contract ends in 2019 and has not been offered a new one. Has Bowyer been lied to or is he just stringing us along aswell? Bit much to think that one of our own are now getting in on the act of fucking us over.

So now that’s out there he’ll be gone on the cheap before Thursday.

I know this is a Charlton related thread so apologies for deviating but those graphs on that twitter account are interesting.

How come Walsall have such a high commercial revenue? I know the stadium is close to the M6 and has a lot of ad space as a result but to be that far ahead of other, dare i say much larger, clubs is impressive. The shirt sponsorship cant be that big can it?

Where's the proof he did that? There is none. Once again CARD and producing lie after lie and using it as propaganda

Has it's been denied ?

There was nothing out about it happening to begin with. Just another lie made up by someone as they have nothing else to do with their pathetic life.

We’re not in debt, own our own ground and have money in the bank.

Are there protests happening on Saturday when we play?

There were none all last season so I don't see why it should change. There are wankers who want to get a game abandoned as they want the EFL to tell clubs exactly who they can and can't sell.

Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda.

I’ve tried so hard to ignore you recently, you’re clearly on a wind up but can’t help myself.

This is a club that has an absent owner, no CEO, no FCO, no board, reduced ground staff, reduced ticket staff, no permanent manager, not enough players to fulfil a match day squad.

This is a club, that is in takeover limbo, a club that is cutting back on electricity, have taken breakfast and water away from youth teams. Soon enough parents will no longer want to send their kids to an academy that is/was the envy of most.

This is a club that has players speaking out in the press about needing more players, that has players tweeting to debunk false claims from the club that they’ve been offered contracts.

The list goes on.

This is not propaganda, this is a football club on it’s knees and it’s very fucking real.

Are we really going to have to wait until Charlton Athletic are no more before you realise what is happening?

Where's the actual proof of this happening?

As someone who has worked in PR in the past, I would expect a story like this to be instantly rebutted. Has this happened?
