Where's the actual proof of this happening?

The thing about breakfasts was mentioned a week or two ago, water rationing more recently.

If it wasn’t true, the club would have publicly denied it and that money grabbing fuck head Roland would have sued The Independent and others for slander by now.

You edited out a fair bit of his response there, I wonder why?

As others have said, the silence is deafening. There we a number a bad rumours surrounding us last season, but those that weren't true were always called out by the club.

Also worth mentioning that on that twitter link, further down is a picture of the box of water under the Charlton badge at the Sparrows Lane training ground.

If these rumours were untrue, training ground staff would not;

A) Accept the water.
B) Allow photos to be taken of it at the training ground knowing full well it would be put in the public eye.

And your point is? All teams are in debt.at this level.
No they’re not - the chart proves it.
We’re not in debt apart from a mortgage on land for the stadium developments.
Football need to realise that it should be share capital not loans financing clubs.

Was wary of posting this given the source but has since been confirmed by people close to the club and from some of this within it.

This is beyond disgraceful. Who and what else is he not paying?

Unbelievable that the EFL just sit back and watch their clubs taken to the cleaners like this. Maybe it will take Roland to buy the players McDonalds before they step in and intervene.

Please tell me what you expect the EFL to do? People like you are deluded, should they just run clubs instead?

Can't say news like the one the daily mail reported come as a surprise. Duchatelet is a known crook. I feel bad for you Bob dude. Hopefully you get this sorted before crashing down to League Two.

It's just to shut you lot up.

As for the "protest", it's a fucking disaster.

Thick twat.

I’ve asked questions throughout this thread you can’t answer.

The EFL can easily intervene and investigate the running of the club.

We are a football club, which is a member of the EFL. They run checks before someone takes over a club and they can intervene where they see fit at any time.

LOL. The EFL have been ridiculed time and time again for their lack of oversight of owners and their ‘fit and proper persons test’.

I like the humour in today’s planned protest. Apparently a staff member had to ask permission to eat a packet of crisps at their desk, because of the possible implication of needing cleaners. I believe protestors will be handling out crisps today. Lamby, what is your favourite flavour?

I mean they let us get taken over by somebody who was bankrupt twice and changed his name to cover that!

Fortunately we got out of that mess but others haven't been so lucky.

There is no humour as the event never happened. It's all propaganda

It was made up and fed to the press by the protest group

Don’t be obtuse, you have been watching Sarah Huckerbee Sanders too much. My point was clearly about the owners of the club, don’t try and deflect to the fans.

The "fans" are making stuff up about the owner and passing it off to the press

When I last lived in Eltham, Charlton were widely considered an excellently run club with widespread support in the community. This was key to getting into the Premier league. Even an apologist could not consider Charlton an example of a well-run club now.

To what end? If the club is well-run why would the fans want to put pressure on the board? It doesn't make any sense...

What I don't get is why Lamby is so keen to support the owners in the face of popular opinion to be honest. It's a weird place to position yourself just to be quirky.
