Lost to the better team, simple as that. Alexander’s tactics were poor once again. No clue why he’s playing Van Veen on the wing when Adelakun is on the bench. Need to improve and quick.

An expected result. We were very poor again, no pace going forward. That's the main difference to last year. Wigan better side and deserved the points. Ref was rubbish. We're looking an expected (from my expectations anyway) mid-table side.

McArdle has settled well and is proving fairly solid. His distribution can be heard . . . "Whoosh" Disappointing signing for me, as a 30 yr old with a 3-year contract.

Gilks looks excellent. He gifted Shrewsbury's first goal last week, but he has made up for it with outstanding goal bound saves in other games. I would say that he is Championship quality, but you Wigan fans know more than I do about him. Glad he ended up with us. Our keeper from last season left for Brentford and I don't rate him as good as Gilks.
