Very glad to see us continue with cheap pricing with just enough of an increase that could make a difference to the playing budget if we didn't lose numbers.

I won't be bothering with any of the extra memberships though(except I might stay in the Bantams Bar again but I rarely use it so I'll see with my mate), they don't seem worth it at all. Does anyone know when seats will be released, I think it's usually after the initial early bird deal?

Our prices look promising too....and could even be for watching championship football if things go well (unlikely now I feel). Cost per game if buying a ST at early bird prices:-

Ages 0-11 - free
12-18 - £4.30 per game
19-23 - £8.70 per game
Adults - £13.50 per game
Concessions - £9.35 per game

Until April 20th:
Adults £270-280
Concessions £160
U18 £48
U12 Free

After April 21st:
Adults £360
Concessions £180
U18 £48
U12 Free

Nice little reduction from last season from the new owner for those who can get the money together in a month. Free scarf too.

For the Cowshed (behind the goal) ours are:
Adult - £336
Senior - £204
U25 - £144
U18 - £48
U12 - Free (if you're a Young Dons member, so £10)

Bearing in mind we could be League 2 next season, other than extending the U21 price to U25, those are the same prices that we had for the Championship...

Are you expecting a price reduction on relegation?

There are no mentions of any potential reductions, so unless they're going to surprise us if we get confirmed as relegated and give the fans already having bought season tickets some money back, I'd guess at these being the final prices no matter what division we're in.
Anyone choosing to support MK Franchise deserves to be ripped off tbh

Your stadium is the best outside the Premier League in terms of facilities for fans (only other club I’ve come across with cushioned seats are Arsenal). So your prices deserve to be high.

Hopefully ours will, at least, be priced no more than this season. As there are encouraging signs with the 4 match adult ticket offer for the last 4 home games of the season starting from £60 in the East Stand (end stand).

I don't mind that they're fairly high. For me £144 for the season is terrific. For me price isn't the issue, it's more that we're likely going to get League 2 football next season, and it'll be the same price for us to see teams like Morcambe and Forest Green as it was back in the Championship in 15/16 when we had teams like Leeds, Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday coming to us.

I don't recall us ever dropping season ticket prices even with relegation and wouldn't expect one. I buy my ticket to watch my team; not the opposition.

It doesn't make sense to have cheap tickets if you want to have a sustainable business. On Mk Dons and Bradfords figures Bradford need twice as many season ticket sales as Mk to make the same money.

I'm guessing you don't make money of shirt sales, merchandise, food drink etc. then?

We sold 16,000 shirts this season more than most outside the Prem, plus sponsors will pay more if their product is being viewed by more people. And the fact it's better to have a full stadium instead of 2/3rds of it rotting away like we have in the past. Common business sense.

The reason other clubs don't do it is because they'd get nowhere near the up take, our CEO has spoken to other clubs in the league who have said as much, an MK Dons would love to charge our prices if it filled their stadium but no chance there would be the up take.

The reason most clubs at this level don't do it is purely down to stadium size, there's nothing wrong with your cheap tickets, but unless you can sell in large numbers then you'll never make enough money from it.

Agree, it was aimed at the poster saying it's pointless as MK Dons earn the same as us. I'd be shocked if they do when everything else is considered. There are a few stadiums big enough to take advantage who don't though, MK Dons and Wigan in particular wouldn't do it as I think they know they wouldn't get the uptake.

If Venky's fucked off we'd get over 20k at your prices I reckon, we just wouldn't get the uptake while people are boycotting.

Not sure you would at this level especially if you'd spent the last 15 years playing the same crap in league 1 and 2, you should in the championship though. I'd expect us to easily sell out(I thing 21,000 is the max season tickets we can sell) should we get promotion and have a bit of success for the first time in donkeys.

In the Premier League I'd expect to sell out at a far higher price, last time we were there I think we sold out selling at around £400 although capacity was around 18,000.

Although not quite as cheap as Bradford’s our season tickets have always been very affordable. I seem to recall my Dad paying little over £300 for his adult ticket in the PL days.

Think we averaged around 16/17k in our previous stint in this league without the current owners.

I don’t agree with clubs not making money with cheaper tickets. If a cheaper ticket attracts just 1,000 more fans and they all buy a programme/drink/burger etc every other week then that is much more profitable than just having thousands of empty seats.

If demand is high enough then having cheaper season tickets is understandable as profits can remain similar, but in a case like ours where ST sales have been dropping for a few years then we just can't afford to do that, and neither can most clubs in this league unless they get crowds like Bradford do week in, week out.
I'd say our prices are fair, but I'm still a bit miffed they're likely to be the same as they were two divisions higher.

Don't know how much we make from merchandise but I know we make nothing, apart from a small amount on the restaurant/Boxes, on food and drink due to the self proclaimed "Guardian of the club" and ex-owner Firoz Kassam.

We are coming in a bit more expensive than many of you so far, except the kids.

The early bird:

Adult - £375
Over 65s and 18-21 - £286
under 18s - £96

There are several other different tickets available including serving armed forces.

Not sure how what we do is not sustainable, we are in a decent financial position compared to most clubs and by offering cheap/free kids tickets we’ve built a generation of Bradford kids who support Bradford City rather than Leeds or Man Utd.

And that, Mr Igo, is probably the most important and satisfying thing of all and something that should be applauded and where possible replicated at by other clubs at this level.

So how’s your clubs season ticket campaign going.City’s so far has been disappointing (only 9k sold so far) so much so the club have had to extend the early bird discount.Last years sales of over 19k was astonishing and it would of been incredible to reach that amount again, especially with so much apathy around Valley Parade at the moment.Still I think we will reach around 12k which isn’t to shabby for league one football. But still disappointing.

I’m sorry but 19k to 12k would be a disaster. 7k lost ST holders over the course of 12 months?!

That’s what about £1M in lost revenue?

Quite a few will have bought multiple child seats at £5 a go and a lot of them were donated, so probably not as much as people thing baring in mind that it's not only the adult and child tickets that have risen. But new membership schemes and suites which are usually near enough sold out.

Yes, anyone wanting to go to the games of their local clubs should be ripped off.

Milton Keynes had two local clubs for their football supporting locals to watch.

I have little sympathy they chose to jump on the franchise bandwagon (defuncting those two clubs in the process).

You reap what you sow. They wanted the instant glitz and glamour instead of hard work building those clubs up through the football pyramid.

I’ll never have any sympathy for what their fans have to endure, as they chose to accept the path of football mutiny at their formation. You can’t bleat that it’s not fair now. Your club isn’t fair full stop, and normal rules don’t apply. You signed up to it, so you’re fair game in my book.
