It's Coming Home is set for #1 this week, top of the charts at the midweek update 20 years after it was released.

Had made a RIP banner but glad they got out even though it did waste some of my time.

Not about football (in fact it was written in connection with WW1) but I love this one. Unfortunately yet to find a decent version on youtube.

What is it about you, makes me feel this way?
When I'm leaving you, when I'm coming home
I'm lost for words to say.
And I know your faults and failures,
And the troubles that you've been through.
But it's more about what happens now
And what were coming to.

And the echo from the green hills
Runs through her city streets,
And the sun that shines on England
Well it lifts the heart in me.

What is it about you, that took men into war?
Rows and rows of crosses: Who remembers why what for?
The corners of these foreign fields,
The dust in them concealed.
Out of sight but not out of mind,
Don't you know that England feels?

And the echo from the green hills
Runs through the city streets.
The rain that falls on England
Well it washes care from me.

England, oh England
England, oh England
England, oh England

Don't make this out a battle hymn or a song of victory.
It's just a way to try to say what England means to me.
And our accents and our colours change
From the city to the farmland
From the moorland to the mountain,
From the river to the sea.

And the echo from the green hills
Runs through the city streets
The rain that falls on England
Well it washes care from me.

England, oh England
England, oh England
England, oh England

From the rolling road to the winding lane,
From the field to factory,
From summer's haze to winter's glaze,
And all the colours in between.
It's a stillness in the evening.
It's the heartbeat that I'm feeling.

Bury’s new hero. Gigg Lane will be known as Trippier Lane if the dream happens.

Hello everyone!

Don't be pessimistic, your guys are pretty good ...
We will try to make them feel at home )
Many of you were afraid to come, as say ;)

Our fan charges for them. You like?

You will never walk alone.
Not at home, not abroad.
Remember forever this your way.
Glorious Russian road.
Road of the Fame!!!
Road of the Fame!!!
Road of the Fame!!!

or

They are looking at you now,
Heroes of the sixties,
Legendary lions,
The British Crown soldiers !!!

They fought themselves not sparing,
And expect the same from you.
You must do everything you can
And what can not - must do too!!!

Thought that Dabio or whatever the hell his name is, that you signed, is the best RB in the world? ;)

All fail in comparison to Trent anyway, he is just there for the experience, but boy he is going to be something :D
Dalot!

I've never seen him play but he has been hyped up as the best in his age group - time will tell, I suppose.

I like Alexander-Arnold, good young player.

Come on England. One more push and we're on the biggest stage of all. Whatever happens, it's been emotional.

Really had mixed emotions about this. At first I felt exactly like I did against Sweden - pretty calm, not overly bothered, not googling England stuff every 10 seconds. I was trying to work out if this is because either I'm happy with how far we've got so whilst I'd be upset if we dropped out, I wouldn't be angry. Or am I just super confident of a win?

I've felt like this up until about 3pm today and now unfortunately I can't see anything past a 9-0 Croatia win.
