Would like to think we could pick up 10-12 points from those 6 games, and stay in the Top 7. Anything more is a bonus

02/09 - Guiseley (H) - Win.
09/09 - Boring Wood (A) - Loss.
12/09 - Halifax Town (an ex-League club!!!!1) (H) - Win.
16/09 - Monkey Hangers (H) - Win.
23/09 - Aldersh*te (A) - Loss.
30/09 - Fylde (H) - Draw.

10 from 18 should keep us nicely in the play-off hunt. Annoying that Guiseley will have that new manager/caretaker syndrome, but we really should pick up the 3 points. We will definitely lose away at tin pot boreham wood - that's nailed on. Aldershot are probably better than us on paper too. Think we've got the edge on Halifax and I don't know what on earth is going on over at Victoria Park, but the Pools look to be there for the taking. Didn't even know Fylde were a club until I looked up the September fixtures so my prediction of a draw is based on absolutely nothing.

Interesting to note that, I think, all of these games are on grass. We're still unbeaten on grass.

Would be disappointed if we didn't pick up at least 9 points from the 4 matches after Aldershot but two very tough games to start the month. 10/18 would be a decent enough return

A tad optimistic but the initial games are all winnable (inevitable we will drop points but I can live in hope)

Hopefully can cement our place up near the top.

As well as trying to TRAVEL us out of it, the National League have also forced the rearranged Solihull game on us this month as well.

Next two games are important.

Over the bank holiday weekend we begun to show signs that we are really beginning to click as a team. We also have a number of games against some weaker sides in the early part of the month too. Think 10 points out of 15 from the league games and FA Cup progress is achievable.

Last time Orient Hartlepool was on the telly you, somehow, won 3-1, having been handed the game by our inept centre back Alan Dunne - so history is actually on your side.

That said, I'm expecting we beat you.

So do we all, looking at those fixtures that game could be Harrison's death knell.

Solihull (H) - draw.
Dover (H) - draw.
Ebbsfleet (A) - draw.
Gateshead (A) - lose.
Orient (H) - draw.
Macc (A) - lose.

Some tough fixtures, plus we barely have enough players to field an XI on Saturday so wouldn't be surprised to see us drop points against Solihull.

Looking at the fixtures coming up I can see us staying unbeaten at home, this would leave us with 16 from 13 and respectably midtable. Definitely would have taken that pre-season. No doubt we'll go and lose to Woking now that it looks like it might be my first game of the season though.

I'm being optimistic about not losing this month. We've traditionally struggled against Maidenhead, Dagenham will tough as well.

Obviously we'll beat Woking to emphasise our domination of Surrey Football

We don't tend to draw at the moment (cue the inevitable 0-0 tomorrow now).Torquay long distance trip and totally out of form, so in Wrexham tradition we will probably kick start their season. We will then probably scrape three 1-0 wins, including Tranmere away - with Andy Cook scoring a cracking header in his own net, then realising he didnt sign for us in the summer after all - before losing another game. That said 12 points out of 18 would be ok.

Will you be resting players against Maidenhead, Gateshead and Dagenham in preparation for your cup final against us?

Surely it's Woking's cup final, playing a successful Surrey based club. Will you be trying to get Jamie Collins' autograph?

This is like watching two of the orange slags off TOWIE arguing over who has the better spray tan. Utterly irrelevant, no-one of any substance gives a flying fuck and far, far too much plastic on display.

Halifax:

Fylde (H) DRAW
Maidenhead (H) WIN
Orient (A) LOSE
Dagenham (A) LOSE
Bromley (H) WIN
Ebsfleet (A) DRAW

This would see us with 8 points out of a possible 18 which is definitely achievable. Some tough fixtures though with the likes of orient, Dagenham and ebsfleet all away. Think we'll come through September ok though as we're hard to beat with a cracking defence. 5 clean sheets out of the 7 games played.

More like 'Made in Chelsea' due to being more upmarket in Surrey, and still being relevant-ish unlike you uncouth Essex types, moved down a channel

Really hard run isn't it?

I'd take 8 points from those 6 games, which would put us on an enormously respectable 13 points from 13 games. Most possible sources being Maidstone, Dagenham/Orient, Eastleigh and Woking. It's probably about the best we can hope for unless something somewhere somehow dramatically changes.

I doubt it.
Well what are your predictions then??

Even as resident pessimist, I hadn't thought Rovers would start this season so poorly.
