Have to be looking at 6pts from the double header at home, even though Newport have enjoyed a good start to the season.

Not sure we will pick up many points from the other 3 games though. Grimsby will be tough away from home, Colchester look dark horses this season and Swindon seem to be able to score goals at will.

Should still be in or around the POs as we enter October.

Hope am wrong but we have a manager who does not know his best team or how to best to set up and its showing. Only two I've really gone back and forward on are Newport and Crewe. I think our two home wins so far are hiding the fact in one of them we were very lucky so suspect that's a false dawn. Normally down the years with Vale v Crewe games the smart money is on the away team but we are garbage away and only thing that works in our favour is Crewe seem to be struggling to get going themselves.

Exeter finished about us last season, but were pretty poor in both games, odd quirk of football.

Think our game is one where you could make a case for any result. Expect it to be close with either side pinching the win so that was probably the hardest game for me to predict for this month.

Need something from Crewe and FGR ideally, that said Cobblers have done as bad as we have so far so thats winnable at home.

Exeter actually surprised me when I looked at the table (maybe due to the arrogance of one or two on here) and have actually only won once more than we have so again at home if we can perform as we did Saturday we have a chance but we need to gel and settle on a team and formation asap.

Its a tricky month on paper compared to last month IMO.
