Or Bristol City 07/08 v Bristol City 17/18 if you prefer. Lots of similarities between Sheff Utd and our team of 10 years ago that made it to the Play Off final in my opinion, including the style of the managers from what I have seen.

Should be a cracking game, such a shame its a Friday night and there will be shit all away fans there.

I might be wrong but I have us down as slight favourites. I was laughed at by even the fans of my club for suggesting SU were in a false position and wouldnt be able to keep it up when 2nd three weeks ago. And so it has somewhat proved due to the loss of only 1 key player, although still early days I know. Wilder seems a great manager and I will back him to take SU up in the coming years but at the moment they have average players for this League totally overperforming.

Maybe you could say the same about us but we are missing loads and continue to bounce back after bad results.

Unchanged BC team I suggest.

I feel dangerously confident for this, playing Blades at the right time. It's so fucking annoying this got moved to a Friday otherwise we'd have had close to 2k up there for this one.

Fielding
Wright Flint Baker Magnusson
Pack
Brownhill Smith Bryan
Reid Paterson
I know this will come back to bite me on the arse but....

Blades 0-3 City (Reid 1', Paterson 19', Flint 81')

25,425 (409 City)

The loss of both our right full backs have caused the main issues, lundstrem has covered for Coutts just fine. Baldock should be back on Friday so Basham back to centre back and things will be tightened up.

Yes we would, for a game that big. We had 1,000 up at Wednesday at £33 a pop. We had 3,000 at yours a few years ago for a big game, 2008 I believe.

1300 tops I'd of said. Was end of season you were about 3rd in league and not played here for ages. Same scoreline will do nicely though. Can see an away win unfortunately for us.

What was the score? I never went, my dad and his mates did they were talking about it yesterday.

I think we have every chance of winning, should be a cracking game.

Away attendances are boring as fuck. 2-1 city and 4 away fans for all I care. Shame I'll be working during most of the game.

Why do away attendances matter so much on here?

Tough game and we never historically do well at Bramall Lane. I’ll take a point and I think we can manage that!

10 undefeated on the road..

Really looking forward to this one, should be a really good game. Obviously for us a draw would be ideal but I've got a feeling City will knick it 2-3.

Prepare for a dire 0-0 now....

I don't really buy into the whole "haven't won there in 10 years or so" bollocks. We have a shit record against most teams in this division in recent years... and that's mainly because we've constantly been in relegation battles!

We've already put quite a few of those records to bed this season and I'm hoping that another one can be rectified year!

Having saying that though, I'll go for a 2-2 draw..

Remember when we scored a last minute equaliser against Sheffield United at Ashton Gate and then they went up the other end and scored again.... Darius Henderson IIRC.

And the 0-1 at AG when Flint scored an OG; whenever I'm asked what the worst game of football I've watched is I will say that one.

I remember that one well, saw a few of your fans walking out of the away end and our end were singing "cheerio" then you scored

The 0-1 Flint OG was an awful game, both clubs were in such a horrendous position there was quite a bit of crowd disorder during and after the game, was one of the low points in recent years.

Didn't go to that one, went on a Tuesday night, think we drew and a Saturday teatime on sky, only been 3 times missed the 3 nil win to you was flying to aus for the ashes and didn't bother in league one last time either.

Our game this season is on the final day at Ashton Gate, that could be a tasty one.... wonder if we'd reduce your allocation if we needed something from the game like we have done to Man Utd.

You only have to allocate 2k, we will only sell out if were in the mix still anyway.

2,700 we have to allocate. The regulations are 10% or 3,000 and obviously AG is a 27,000 seater nowadays not 20,000 anymore.

Yeah, you'd sell the whole end if you needed something from it though.

It's 10% or 2k in the championship hence the 2k allocation you get at forest and 2.2k at ours. It's 10% or 3k in the prem

We relegated Sheff Utd back in the 80s at Bramall Lane when playoffs included the third from bottom team in the division above. My old man always talks about that day as the most scared he's ever been at a match and he did the rounds. No idea what our "away following" was that day but I'm sure somebody here has it on a spreadsheet.....
