Nerves kicked in last night, no nerves today though. The closer to kick off it gets the more confident I'm getting, still expect a comfortable win for United but as long as we put in a battling performance and show some bollocks I can live with it. Get this out the way and it's all about getting to 50 points and letting Jos shape the squad how he wants.

Agree, you can never legislate for a result, sometimes things go right or go wrong with the luck factor/ dodgy ref decisions.

For me the big issue is giving 100%, puttting in a performance, at least showing plenty of positives.
And regards this I’m 100% confident United will turn up, play well with attacking positive play, so I’m more excited than nervous.
Should be a good game. If Wednesday play well or defend well then ’ll give them credit after the match.

Not saying they are expecting trouble but the SY Police will be armed with automatic weapons tonight with snipers positioned on roof tops around Bramall Lane. What next?.....
By the way I made the sniper bit up.....but they are being armed with guns according to the tweet by the local newspaper.

No doubt there will be 2,000 seats unused, despite in the Glasgow Derby having a line of coppers between fans...

Front 5 rows of the upper tier are shut I believe, 800 seats in the lower tier and a few on the end of South and John st. Prob be just over 30k, less than the Sunderland game.

All the restricted views (even the seats where you can only see half the pitch, so it’s almost a no view) have been sold last week.

I think the official crowd will just about creep over 31,000 in a stadium with 32,700 seats.
The first 2 rows of the away end bottom tier and the first 3 rows of the Bramall Lane upper tier will still have netting over them.
There will be a bit of netting near both corner flags at the away end.
Reckon 1,600 seats will be unused, which is a lot better than the farcial restrictions at Hillsboro.

I was judging it on the 30,600 against Sunderland on Boxing Day, with the additional poor and restricted view seats sold. So assumed it would be another few hundred taking it over 31K. Also on Talksport this afternoon they said it was a 31,000 sell out.

Madness if it’s less than the Sunderland game, when there’s been so much demand.

Although I'm not at all optimistic, if we give 100% and show the fans that the players and staff now understand the importance of these matches I will be happy.
On the other hand another gutless performance like the Burton match and the players will not easily be forgiven (if ever).
To be honest play like that and the scoreline will never be forgotten either.

Not asking for much, just 100% commitment from every player
C'mon Wednesday!

Just saw the video of the SW bus getting into BL. Takes a special sort of **** to go to the ground and boo some players off a bus rather than staying in the pub with your mates.

Always look out for this game, as it's one of the best in the country. Hopefully Wednesday win tonight, and for some strange reason, I think they will . 2.1 Wednesday.

On the ropes already, which is expected. The atmosphere at bramall lane always seems more hostile than hillsborough in this particular fixture.

Thought of a new drinking game. Take a shot everytime Keith Andrews says "Toyme and toyme agen". You'll be pissed by FT.

Well that was wank, Wednesday probably marginally and I mean marginally the better side in a way until they had 10 men. Standard shit derby match but 4 points off the bastards so happy days

Shows how far we've come though when they are celebrating a 0-0 draw how they were , don't get me wrong they deserved it but proud at where we are compared to 18 months ago. Chris wilder you are a legend

Worse I’ve seen us play for about 18 months.
Also we’ve been entertaining but that was poor.

However you have to give credit to Wednesday.
They did a job on us, defended really well, closing us down and we struggled to create anything clear cut.
At least a draw was a fair result, so no complaints.

Can only assume the OB allowed this on a Friday night hoping for a few bans to be picked up in a World Cup year?
