I'd say Sparky lives to fight another day but Jose might be sprucing up his CV for the Portugal job, excuses included for the negative end to his career as a professional club manager. We all feel sympathy for him, right?

I, in my infinite wisdom, predicted this in one of the threads on here before the season started.

I wonder if Jose is regretting saying we'll be in a better position by the end of the year.
