One fred for 12 games......pffffftttttt! :fing::sur:

So, we finally picked up our first win of the season at the weekend. I didn’t attend due to work, but it sounded well deserved.

Jordan Gibson was on-loan at Stevenage last season, and I believe he did alright. He picked up a knock before the weekend, which ruled him out against Oldham. His replacement, Conor Wood came in and faired well - again, by all accounts.

If Gibson is fit, he’ll be chomping at the bit to feature against his old club. A selection headache for GB.

We’ll probably line-up as per the weekend;

GK: Richard O’Donnell

RB: Kelvin Mellor
CB: Anthony O’connor
CB: Ben Richards-Everton
LB: Adam Henley

RW: Sean Scannell
CM: Danny Devine
CM: Matty Palmer
LW: Conor Wood

ST: Clayton Donaldson
ST: James Vaughan

I fancy us to win 2-0. Vaughan and Donaldson to notch again.

600ish City

Up the chickens.

Not sure what to expect from Stevenage don’t really know anything about their team, but apparently they have injuries so I’ve revised my initial 1-1 prediction and think we’ll edge it 2-1.

Same team as the weekend baring any fitness problems.

It wouldn’t make any sense to add you onto the spreadsheet yet - work smarter not harder.

Know nothing about Stevenage, other than Lewis Hamilton being born there. They are clearly struggling to score goals, and I believe they are struggling with injuries at the back.

Usually Bradford City is the best team to play for a struggling side looking to break a bad run. However, on this occasion, I think we will have too much for them. I am going for a 2-1 victory, Donaldson and Anthony O'Connor scoring, with 380 Bantams travelling down on a Tuesday night

Same team for me, if it’s true Stevenage’s centre halves are both teenagers due to injuries, I’d back Vaughan and Donaldson to bag a few, 0-3*

* if the injured defenders thing is true.

The combined age of our centre backs that ended the Orient game was just 36. To their credit they performed well, not sure how serious the injuries to Cuthbert, Nugent, and Van Cooten are, hopefully one of them is passed fit.

Our squad is absolutely riddled with injuries currently, I think we'll lose, the margin depends on how good Bradford are.

Very poor first half. Stevenage have had most of the ball, but James Vaughan with the best chance of the game.

Henley gone off injured; Hope Akpan comes into the centre. Back to 433.

1-0 City. James Vaughan claims it, but it’s an OG by the looks of things.

Stevenage all over us at the minute - but it does seem relatively comfortable.

Theres a late goal in this - could go either way.

Few and breath, hands up they were the better team but we worked our arses off not to concede.

Akpan was useless tbf it was like 10 v 11 then when Patrick came on 9 v 11, we need another midfielder desperately.

Scruffy battling performances like tonight, are as important as free flowing footballing performances. So pleased with our start.

Defence looks immense, compared with the shambles of last season. Keeper O'Donnell has started the season in such good form, and seems to have regained his confidence after a poor end to last season. Probably seeing the back of Chicksen and Knight-Percival in the summer, has helped restore his confidence in the new look defence in front of him.

Special mention to Ben Richards-Everton, fairly low key signing from Accrington, but he has been brilliant at centre back so far

Winning ugly breeds confidence - more so than a comfortable win IMO.

Backs against the wall stuff tonight, so credit to Stevenage FC - unlucky for you, Richard O’Donnell just wasn’t conceding tonight.

Two signings expected this week. ITK’s confident of landing both Will Buckley and Jamie Devitt. Not quite the tough-tackling defensive midfielder we’re lacking, but performances like Danny Devine tonight will go a long way to cover the gap.

Decent start to the season - can’t complain. A potential banana-skin in FGR awaits us at the weekend.

Up the chickens!

BRE perfect league two signing. Crucial to improve the defence from last year. We even seem to have cover as well. If we sign a decent midfielder then I will be very confident for our chances this year. Maybe also another striker. I’m not sure Devitt and Buckley totally cover what we need but will definitely improve the team/squad

Top thread lads

You must know the feeling? Not too dissimilar to your very own OMB ?

Comparative level of threads, posts and users?

Again, completely dismiss the previous match threads created. Focus solely on a match thread from a Tuesday night fixture which has NO opposition fans, seemingly, willing to contribute. xxx

Big up to the City contingent who don’t particularly like me who have refrained from posting to suit this particular agenda, also. Give yourselves a slap on the napper.... :bravo:

Polite Reminder: it is a public forum, purposely designed to enable fans to engage with other supporters relative to all things football - and the topic raised (off topic in this case; which admin...who/what/where/when/no idea)

Sadly, moderators are more than happy to allow potentially good threads to turn into shit - maybe they don’t like me too? Nawww

All a bit powderpuff really, don’t’cha think?

Grip fellas - get one!

Exactly, just like the Tuesday night games thread did, all those fans of many different clubs engaging together over all things football.

This thread allowed a few Bradford fans to chat to themselves just like their own forum.

Again, the point is missed.
