As Mossy has said above. See you back in the Championship in next couple years.

Fantastic manager.

He starts from the back so if your good at going forward already he will have your defence stop leaking goals in no time.

He took PNE from the bottom end of League 1 to a established Championship side within 4 years on a shoe string budget.

Great appointment.

Wouldn't say shoestring in League One terms, only Sheff Utd and Bristol City had bigger budgets I would think.

Definitely shoestring in the Championship though which shows the gap really.

Sounds Parkinson like in many ways, which isn’t a bad thing in terms of progressing us without tippy tappy rubbish for the sake of trying to be pretty.

Has a formula for getting out of this league, gets his teams organised and makes good use of the loan market to add quality.

It's not particularly entertaining but pretty football gets you nowhere in this league, its all about clean sheets.

Expect him to add a few players he's previously worked with in the summer.

Any names immediately spring to mind?

Not really, John Welsh will probably be released in the summer but his fitness is questionable so don't think Grayson will bring him in.

Can't see anyone else in our squad dropping down a level, other than the ones out on loan and i'd be surprised if Doyle or Pringle wanted to work with Grayson again.

He might try and get Beckford when Bury go down.

All relative really.

If Beckford was fit then i'd have you down for automatics.

He beat my prediction of 10 games though, by 5.

Even with a fit Beckford we'd still be flirting with the relegation zone or midtable at best. Horrendous to think how one man can get it so wrong.

Nah, he'd be on about 43 goals by now

I've backed Charlton tonight and only just remembered that Bradford have now appointed Grayson. Bets in the bin two hours before kick off, a new record.

Would be surprised if he has sorted out our defence in 2 days. Pretty sure he's not a miracle worker.

Well judging by tonight’s 11 we’re playing for the draw.

I'm happy with the appointment, we were badly rocking and needed some stability. Names like Phil Brown were getting chucked about which were making me nervous.

I wonder what Grayson's opinions will be on NKP. I've always liked him, he's fast and good with the ball at his feet but been a liability defensively at times this season as he's not had a screen of possession to protect him. Or Reeves who was bought to replace Cullen and looks totally lost at times. Or Law who doesn't tackle, assist, score, but can pass sideways (Tim Dieng's got more goals than Law from playing defensive mid despite playing 40 fewer hours of football over the last couple of seasons). Or Vincelot who has needed dropping for months. These were Stuart's untouchables and I think part of the problem which cost him his job, not just in the bad run but also from the consistently poor home performances all season.
