What difference does it make what day of the week your exams are on? When you're spending all your time revising every day is basically the same anyway.

Where you at?
Unfortunately, one of the smallest in the country, Glyndwr in North Wales. But that is all down to my lack of effort and attitude while I was in sixth form. I'm 21 now and had a few years working in different jobs before I came here. It feels a bit like a college sometimes but the teaching is great and the experience of the lecturers is a bonus as well.

Got my confirmation Saturday, going to be a student again come September. Part time masters at Cardiff Met doing Sports Performance Analysis. Actually got the email half way through my competition, had a hard time shooting properly due to hands shaking from being excited.

Never go to Wolvo Uni lads. Never.

Got told off for not submitting my first Advanced Law assignment in by hand even though on the Uni website it says to hand it in online. Had to go in during the easter holidays and hand a physical version in late whilst no-one was even there. Big pain in the arse.

For the second assignment for Advanced Law however I was now wise to this, so I handed it in a couple weeks ago physically on paper, job done....

Nope, got told off in an email yesterday for not handing it in online. Fuck this Uni.

Currently feeling a little disheartened due to only getting a 2:2 in my dissertation (though this is a provisional mark). Throughout my degree 90% of my grades have been 2:1's and therefore, I'm annoyed and puzzled at my low dissertation mark. Mainly because I spent more time and research in doing my dissertation, whilst having the help of my supervisor. He seemed to think my work was of a good standard, I handed my final draft in and he seemed happy enough with it, whilst I made any corrections that he suggested. Consequently, I was expecting a 2:1. I knew it wouldn't be a high 2:1 or near a 1st but I never expected to get a 2:2. I genuinely thought it was the best piece of work I had handed in. Does anyone know if higher standards of work are expected within a dissertation or marking is a lot harsher?
Also, is there much hope in my mark changing once it's been marked by an external examiner?

This has left me very nervous, as my average has now dropped to around 61% overall for my degree, with one more result to receive, which I'd need a 2:1 in. The result I'm waiting for is also the one I'm least confident with!! I'd be happy with a 2:1, but I'm not feeling too confident right now! It would be a shame to end up with an overall mark of 58/59 and end up with a 2:2 when the majority of my marks have been 2:1's.

I was the opposite actually. My supervisor wasn't very helpful and made me feel like my work was far worse than it was. I knew I only needed something small to end up with a 60 overall but I had real doubts about whether I'd even got the 45 or whatever it was. Ended up with a 62 or something.

Would they not bump you up to 60 if you finished on 59 or whatever? They did at Liverpool.

I wouldn't say he made me feel over confident, as I knew it wasn't perfect and had many corrections to make along the way. But, I was confident my research and work was of a 2:1 standard. For example, I had done essays in just over a week and managed to get a 2:1, in my dissertation I spent considerable time on it, plus had additional help from my supervisor, so my mark seemed strange!

I'd hope they'd bump me up! Need 60 or above on my last module and the way my marks have been going, I'm not so confident now!

I felt as if I was cruising to a 2:1, but now I'm praying for it!

You used to be able to get things remarked if it was on the boundary line.. I'm not sure if that was just exams or any piece of work.. For some reason I think you have to pay a small fee too. I could be talking absolute bollocks tho.

None of our other subjects have ever done this, only this one. And confusingly, when we did Law in semester one we only needed to hand it in physically, not virtually. It's a confusing mess.

I know that's true of A-levels. At Manchester you cant do that though, guess every university could be different though.

Got my first year results confirmed on Friday - averaged 65, should have done better really but not bad considering some Universities rejected me for a foundation degree.

I got mine the other day, got a First in Sports Therapy. Having a year out then gonna attempt a Masters in Physiotherapy.

Can't stress how important it is to work as hard as you possibly can as soon as you get back for third year mossypne. I only worked out in March what I needed to do to get a first, and doubled my effort in the last couple of months and got one. Came out at a comfortable first in the end but had I worked a lot harder earlier in the year I'd have got there more comfortably.

With two results left to collect I've pretty much secured a mid/high 2:1 which, despite being first year, is what I needed to secure moving to Budapest from January next year which I'm really excited for.

Been a fun year, especially as my course required me to closely follow the referendum as well as EU impact in other countries. On top of that I've managed to visit 13 new countries and somehow end up in a relationship. Much better year than my half arsed attempt at Architecture. More of the same next year hopefully!

Ended 2nd year with a strong 2:1 (should be around 65, although not yet confirmed). Pretty happy given I opened up with a 47, ended it with 75, 68, 69 and 64.
