Swanseas lineup had the look of a side from the championship about it against Southampton. People are saying this is the best Man Utd since Fergus.
So it's definitely gonna be a draw.

Mourinho should be sacked if United drop points in this fixture.

Swansea have everyone behind the ball, defending deep and shaping up with a flat back five without the ball once we get anywhere near their box. Proving difficult to break down so far.

Swansea playing smart, this is what United came up against last year and repeatedly failed to break through, so this will be a decent litmus test to see if United are going to draw anywhere near the amount of games they did last season.

I missed the first 5 minutes or so, why are the Swansea fans booing Rashford consistently? Of all the United players to boo...

He dived to win a penalty against them last season.

I'm not sure what's wound Pogba up, he needs to calm down before he's off.

All bets on Rashford to score the winner and to celebrate with a shush. Don't see this being the hammering that people were expecting, Swansea look very well drilled. Maybe a change of tact for Clement this season, to be more defensive given they have a dearth of on the ball talent. It's going to be a dull season for their fans.

Piss poor from Rashford, that should have been the opening goal.

Missed 2 one on ones in 2 games. Gonna lose Joses faith pretty quick if he doesn't start putting those away.

Had the camera panned to the bench after the miss I'm pretty sure we'd have seen a certain Frenchman smirking.

This is pretty much Rashford's MO and why he'll never lead the line for United. All that said, he's been United's biggest threat in both games so far, he's fearless, consistently beats defenders and creates a lot of chances. He's settling into this wing forward position, I don't see anyone taking his place in the side despite his problems when staring a keeper down. I kind of view him as a far more technical and skillful Walcott.

Great header.

Bailly scores after being in bit of a mess defensively for the last 10 minutes.
Floodgates now?
Pogbert assist!

He is twenty years old, no way of telling whether composure will come or not. He showed enough when he first broke through and he could definitely pick it up again as he matures.

Either way no denying he is a first team talent at this point.

Yeah I don't think his finishing is something that won't improve, just that Jose isn't one to wait around on a players development so he needs to be careful he doesn't fluff too many.
I think the attempted finish was probably a little too composed (or relaxed) really, he's thinking the keeper will come sliding out to take the ball so a little dink over is a goal, he's just timed it way too early.

He is very young so it hopefully will come in time, but the vast majority of goals he has scored so far for United have been instinctive finishes where he didn't have to think, he has done poorly in one on one situations even whenever he broke through, but is capable of running past three players and putting it in the top corner from the edge of the box at any given time. Even the one on ones he has scored haven't been great finishes, the goalkeeper usually gets a touch. There's nothing wrong with that as long as United have a finisher alongside him. He more than makes up for it in creative influence, his ability to stretch defences and the space he opens up for others.
