Well, after pre-season and 2 games Flitcroft has, seemingly, managed to mend a fractured fan base. There is genuine enthusiasm back for the team after the shambles of the last couple of seasons.

Much as I hate to admit, but a lot of credit must go to Power - who has kept his promise to keep his nose out and back the management team.

We are transformed into a hardworking, defensively competent and potent up top side. Exeter should provide a decent test especially with their terrific away form last season.

Expecting 8000+ at the CG with a genuine buzz about the place.

Looking forward to this one. Will be a good test for both sides and hopefully we can continue our away form from last year. We put in a good performance on the opening day against Cambridge and I'd probably line up exactly the same in this one.

We've sold out the tickets which were sent down from Swindon (think they only sent around 300 though) so it's only pay on the day available. Like to think we should bring 700+ in what will hopefully be a good atmosphere.

Exeter are a massive threat and well capable of spoiling the party. I think both clubs will go on to have good seasons no matter what happens Saturday.

Expecting a bit of a lively atmosphere. As Dan said the fanbase has been rejuvenated and I'm hoping for a vocal Town End to support the new team. The stadiums been dead noise wise for a while as negativity has consumed the club over the last couple of years.

Signs that the tide has slowly started to turn and we've finally stopped the rot that's eaten away at us since we lost 4-0 at Wembley.

As for the game I do think we'll be posed problems and it'll be tight. Go for 1-1 in a decent match.

My first time seeing our new side in the flesh on Saturday.

Things have been very positive at the CG so far, the manager is saying and doing all the right things, the players seem to not be totally crap like last season and the fans are behind both the team, manager and chairman.

Exeter should be nearer the top half of the table this season after missing out on promotion last season so I expect a tough test.

With a lot of fans from last season saying they were not going to come to matches this season, I've a feeling that we will see a lot of them returning lol.
Looking forward to this, hopefully we can take our away form to the CG, it will be the first time I've seen the team this season, so I'm expecting to be entertained, and from I've heard , I should be .Crowd , hopefully about 7500 to 9000,

Think it will be a tight game.

If wheeler, macalinden and reid start I would fancy us to sneak a goal and hopefully we keep it tight at the back. I think tisdale this season is looking to keep games low scoring by playing safe.

If we conceded first however we would have to go looking for a goal and that would be a disaster for our game plan, I don't think we will play as open and attacking as we did last year.

1-1 is my prediction.

Sorry that's my fault. I started to post, had a phone call and by the time I had finished and posted there was another thread.

My bad.
Don't worry about. Meant to attach a wink face to the end of my post, didn't mean for it to look sound so serious.

Should be a good game tomorrow and think we will need to weather the storm for the first 20 mins or so, and if we can do that we should get a foothold in the game. If we don't, then it could be a bit of a messy one.

We look solid so far and have a real threat going forward but it's key that Wheeler and Moore-Taylor make it after missing mid week.

Should be a good crowd and atmosphere. I expect 6-700 from Devon....

I'll tentatively go with a 1-1 draw.

Bit of a damp squib from us. Very disjointed, especially first half. Woolery looks a star in the making.

Exeter were terrific and a good turn out from them - they'll do well again this year.

I think Exeter can be extremely unfortunate to leave with only 1 point today. Cracking shot by Jack Sparks against the post and 2 scrambles from corners looked over the line at either end.

For us football wise we were second best but fought for everything. Mullin was a pest and Woolery and Norris changed things in the second half coming on at half time. Norris showed good hold up play and Woolery is rapid and looks like he is going to be a cracking signing.

Exeter ran over us in midfield and were very impressive all through the team. For us, Dunne was horrendous and may as well have been wearing a luminous yellow shirt!

Good luck for the season Exeter, think you'll definitely be up there this season, good side and manager.

Happy with a point, but sounds like we probably should have gotten all 3. Was surprised how many attacking players we started with, but sounded like we did what we're good at away from home, which is to counter quickly which works well for us.

The radio commentators were unsure why Swindon's goal was disallowed just after we scored and sounded a harsh decision.

Jack Sparkes at only 16 looks like a real talent and would have been a dream debut had the ball not swerved onto the post. So pleased we've tied him down to a contract.

Swindon inevitably brought on Woolery who sounded a threat and given time to gel, I'm sure Swindon will be up there.

Overall delighted with our start and we seem to be good all over, plus Dean Moxey is soon to be fit to play which will make us stronger. Hope that Wheeler's injury isn't too bad.

Looking forward to seeing us play v Lincoln next week....

Based on the highlights it looks like we could have won that. We looked pretty dangerous on the break.

For Swindon their new guy woolery or whatever his name is looks pretty decent.

Think we were the better side but to be honest I'm not sure we did enough to really warrant winning the game so the draw was probably the fair result. When Woolery came on he really exploited our lack of pace in defence and could have scored more than one. For us, we had some good chances. A lovely strike from Sparkes which was so close to finding the net but smacked the post, it would have been a great moment for the kid. Pleased McAlinden got the goal his early season performcances have deserved.

Not overly disappointed, win next week and 7/9 points will represent a decent start.
