I have no idea what he's talking about. And I well would. There has been some minor stuff going on with the organised crime, but no terrorist attacks.

Sweden is a very odd place if bombing police stations is "some minor stuff". Your PM said “The bombing of a police station in Helsingborg is extremely serious. An attack on the police is, in the long run, an attack on our democracy." That is on top of an apartment bombing, car bomb, bomb found under a cop car over the last fortnight or so and various grenade attacks which are apparently semi-regular in Sweden now. Well, Malmö (the place where Antifa got chased out by migrants IIRC) at least.

Fucking hell your choice of words and sly connecting of completely separate events really shows what sort of news sources you're reading.

No, "police stations" haven't been bombed. One bomb was set off at the Helsingborg police station two weeks ago, no one died and no one was injured.

Using the word "on top of" and then mentioning other completely unrelated events is absurd. I'm not sure which apartment bombing you're referring to (your vague wording is so incredibly telling), but you're using the word very oddly. In Malmö, mid-september, one person died due to an apartment explosion but there was no bomb involved. Maybe you're referring to another event? Or maybe your use of the word bombing is very off. I can assure you, no one has died from a bomb going off in any apartment any time recently.

No car bomb has gone off in Sweden in recent memory, not sure why you mention it. A ferrari exploded in mid-october though, an apparent insurance scheme. Again, no bomb involved.

The only event I can find regarding a police car and a bomb (again, bomb=specific word) happened in may this year. Quite serious, involved a bomb after all, but no one was injured and it was the policeman's private car.

Antifa aren't active in Sweden, the word isn't used. So it's factually incorrect. In Sweden there's something similar called Afa, and they haven't been chased out of anything. They're a grass roots movement so they pretty much can't. They merely show up where they think they're needed and keep a low profile the rest of the time.

None of these events are in any way connected to each other, let alone to what's happened in New York.

The grenades is an odd one, I've worked on that through my line of work and there are multiple explanations. Unfortunately for you, it has nothing to do with immigration. I know so because I read the report and interviewed the researcher behind the report you're unknowingly referring to. This is completely irrelevant to the events you mentioned/made up.

In summary, Sweden is a country of 10 million people and our crime rate is in general low. However, if you skip timestamps, say "police stations" instead of station, call any given explosion a "bombing" and make shit up about organisations that don't exist in Sweden, it's to paint a pretty vulgar picture. It's just completely untrue. You could do it for any country anywhere, it's all about changing some words, pretending everything's recent and connected and just making shit up where you figure no one will look it up. I mean, how many know which countries Antifa's active in, right?

Also, make sure you write for people who hate muslims because they'll assume it has something to do with them, like the grenade stuff. You just got unlucky here, that you wrote it to me and I've read the report entirely. Shit like that rarely happens, don't let it stop you.

This reads in part like fevered paranoid delusion. If you want to refute an assertion then refute the assertion, you don't need to enter a fantasy world in which you dissect every word for imagined rhetoric from some dastardly alt-right propagandist. A police station was bombed, as was an apartment with dynamite according to the police, as well as what is now seemingly a culture of various attacks with fire bombs, grenades and "powerful bangers" that is barely ever reported in the UK. From the outside looking in this is odd. You passing it off as trivial is also odd. Nobody mentioned immigration. Nobody said they were all connected.

Oh, and AFA are basically Antifa. They routinely fly Antifa flags and it was them getting run out of Rosengård that I was remembering, but that's neither here nor there really. Just poking fun at those knuckle-dragging comrades.

Then try to sound less like an alt-right propagandist.

A police station was bombed
Yes, and when you say police stations the statement becomes untrue. Like your original one.

See, this is where you sound like an alt-right propagandist. There's nothing tangible here, just you trying to paint a picture of a country in decline. It's not. There's lots of statistics on all of this, one google away. Only the grenades will have any support there, but we've covered it.

This passage is so see-through it's incredible.

Oh, that thing that happened in 2008? Yeah that doesn't really support the claim that "immigrants ran Afa out of Malmö" and it certainly has nothing to do with anything in 2017.

I couldn't care less what you think of me, it probably says more about you than me anyway. It is tedious however and does nothing to further a debate, as Red proved for years.

Yes, and when you say police stations the statement becomes untrue. Like your original one.

Semantics. I was clearly talking about the principle of trivializing a police station being bombed.

You're entering into an innocuous discussion about bomb attacks in Sweden with the mentality that anyone who thinks it's strange and/or doesn't have intimate knowledge of Swedish crime rates must be some sort of propagandist trying to paint the Sweden as a country in decline. This is not rational Bilo. You must see this.

Oh, that thing that happened in 2008? Yeah that doesn't really support the claim that "immigrants ran Afa out of Malmö" and it certainly has nothing to do with anything in 2017.

Hence why I said it's neither her nor there in the very paragraph that you're quoting.

It's almost as though the "news" hasn't been reported coz it isn't actually news, and Ebe only thinks otherwise coz he harbours weird alt-right sympathies.

Well if you see reports of a police station and apartment building being bombed coupled with talk of grenade attacks and think it odd that it's not reported here very much then yes, you are basically Hitler. I mean it's not like anyone would ignore uncomfortable goings on based on political persuasion, which is why there's such a serious discussion being had about the rape scandal in the Labour thread.

Maybe you should post some sources for the things you claim happened. Ideally stuff that isn't associated with the US or Euro far-right.

Had a bit of a read into the "Antifa chased out of Rosengård" here's a blog about it. Basically a ham-fisted attempt to organise a street-party that was countered by locals who believed they were trying to organise a riot (a year after large-scale riots in the neighbourhood). This happened 9 years ago.

https://reclaimrosengard.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/pressmeddelande/

Lets talk about stuff that has actually happened in Sweden this year - an attempt by a neo-Nazi to run over a load of people demonstrating for the right of asylum of Iraqis in Sweden

There was a link in the text above but this forum makes you mouse over it to see it for some reason.

Why? Sam Harris would eviscerate everyone on this board intellectually.

They'd probably get along. Harris is a supporter of wealth redistribution. The caricature that he's some sort of libertarian or conservative is odd.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Katie Hopkins and Nigel Farage are both said to be absolutely distraught after the shooting in Texas.

Already, prominent members of the right wing media and right wing politicians in America mainly but also here are pointing to the civilian who apparently shot the terrorist dead as a positive for mass gun ownership. The cognitive dissonance is incredible.
That’s Orlando and Texas in short order.
Imagine the outrage everywhere ( including this forum) if these terrorists had been brown.

There would be no disparity at all here if they were brown. The discussion would certainly be different if the attacks were ideologically motivated however, again regardless of race.
