Coffee machines are the future Lynn, kettles are saaaaaad.

I'M LEAVING YOU, YOU COW!

Come on John, let's mosey on down to the liddle biddy chef, little chef.
Who's upset you this time Alan?
Just people, I hate the general public.

Fe fi fo fum I smell the blood of a bunch of ungrateful bastards.

Take the train to London I guarantee you'll either be mugged or not appreciated. Stopping at rejection, backstabbing central and shattered dreams parkway.

You could swing a tiger in here.
I wouldn't want to though ...unless it was stunned...and even then it's going to weigh the best part of a ton.

Alan Partridge will head on a deeply personal journey through the north in a new ‘documentary’ for Sky Atlantic.

In an attempt to make amends following a controversial on-air incident, the radio DJ will leave behind his life of luxury to visit the areas inhabited by the people he had offended, from supermarket staff to payday lenders.

Partridge will move among them in a bid to become what Sky has called “a better citizen, a better man and a better, more sought-after broadcaster.”

Along the way, he will ask whether a ‘schasm’ has formed – somewhere between a schism and a chasm – between the country’s ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’.

“It’s great to see Alan tackle the big issues of poverty and disenfranchised youth with the same clumsy ham-fistedness we would usually expect from George Osborne,” said Partridge star Steve Coogan.

Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle will air on Sky Atlantic on Monday 30 May.

Anyone been watching the second season of Mid Morning Matters? It is absolutely brilliant. Every episode delivers.

I personally thought the first series was better but that last episode was really, really good. Had some good guest appearances throughout.

Was alright.
Couple of funny stories but personally, I think it was all a bit much. The dog was funny, as was the Tesco bit and the warehouse.
I wonder how much further he'll take Partridge.

Had the audiobook of his last book, and want to get it for this as well so I can just burst out laughing while wandering along and look a weirdo. :D

Ended up buying the non audio version in the end. I started reading it last night and was pissing myself all the way through. The bit with Dawn at the swimming baths .. So far I think it's better than I Alan Partridge

I read a report that Coogan has said he's planning a new series of I'm Alan Partridge. I really hope this materialises, it would be, well, splendid and tremendous. I wonder how well it would work though? I enjoyed the film, but I don't think it was anywhere near as good as the first two series'. A lot of the supporting characters really made series 1 and 2 so great too. There would be no Michael :( and his sparring with Dave Clifton were so funny.

Yeah I definitely believe a new series is on the way at the end of the year; and not set in the radio station (which I found relatively dull tbh) either.

I thought Mid morning matters was really good, but it did lack scope in terms of being limited to the studio. Sidekick Simon didn't really work for me either.

A new series of I'm Alan Partridge, I'm completely ok with this.

I'd really like to see Partridge take over Attenborough and do his nature shows.

Is it true that Alan Partridge is standing as an independent Conservative in Norwich South at the election?
