Oh yes I must of had a bit of brain lapse, he's been poor with bat and especially ball.

Ben Duckett to be sent home from the Lions squad for pouring a pint of beer over a ‘senior’ player’s head

What a waste of beer unless it was XXXX then entirely justifiable

Is this worse than head butting somebody even if that was for a "laugh"?

Wonder what would have happened had it been the other way round...

EDIT: Seems like he has just been suspended - not sent home (yet)

Duckett's got previous and it was Jimmy Anderson. All plays into it doesn't it.

if it was a sport that demands physical peak fair enough but they play cricket for goodness sake - it's made for drinkers and smokers.

Tom Currans made a good case for a call up in that tour match then.

Crikey, Leach went for over 10 an over! Doesn’t look like Wood set things alight either so it’s looking like the same eleven again.

Wake up and turn on TMS, first thing I hear is "Steve Smith to give himself a bowl" - always a good sign.

Bairstow finally moved up the order and gets a 50, wasted at 7

Ffs that lower order is shambolic. 368-4 to 403 all out. Well played malan and bairstow we have a chance now at least but had to be looking at a minimum 450-500 after their hard work, nobody helped

What is the opposite of the tail wagging?

Lets hope the Aussies suffer such a collapse.

Overton bowling well. Should have been making 450 minimum from that position, shocking.

Once again we've put ourselves in a great position and not made the most of it. So frustrating

Have to be very disappointed with that collapse. Surely that tail have to be coming in to bat with confidence, thinking we have them on the back foot, and our tail just have to dig in and keep runs ticking. They don't have to be trying anything, just keeping it simple.

And to follow that up, the Aussie top order rattles 200 out in no time,

    Looking very bleak.

Moeen’s been dreadful so far and his confidence must be shot to pieces but it’s amazing how quickly people forget. He’s been one of the first names on the team sheet the last couple of years and is one of the quickest ever to 2000runs/100 wickets.

We are basically just getting outplayed in every department here for 70% of the time. I honestly think we can still win a test though and give us the momentum to win the next one, this one has gone now it will be pathetic if we can't bat out for a draw on this pitch if we do we are still in the series. Our bowling attack is so far behind theirs it's untrue and they are all failing miserably with the bat too.

Can't speak for anyone else but I've not forgot anything. He had a good summer against West Indies and Pakistan. I ain't saying we shold replace him but against top opposition he doesn't do anything with bat or ball. Woakes is getting a load of stick but Mo is othing but an extra number against decent opposition

Doesn’t matter in the scheme of things but just sat through James Vince’s 50. That might be the best looking innings I’ve ever seen.

A very good ball to get him out in all fairness.
