Round 3 and beyond.

Dingle derby over at Turf Moor. Looks like Hedges is being given first shot at the vacancy left by Potts’ departure. Full strength line up, here’s hoping for a round 4 appearance.

Jonesy was never going to go for a weaker side was he?

If anything, it’s bolder and more attack minded than the Barnsley game.

I’d have loved to have been one of the 4,300 there today.

Good idea to rest Pelly I think, he needed it. Great to see Berry starting again, if he has truest managed to overcome the injury and be the player he was last season, he really could be the proverbial “like a new signing” for us.

Not doing too bad so far either.

It’s an absolutely dreadful game to be honest with you; and both teams look like they’re a bit shagged out after the Christmas period.

Thought we played quite well, didn't look out of our depth by any means. Didn't have much in the way of clear cut chances, thought Lee and Shinnie should have been more willing to shoot a few times when the opportunity presented itself. Wish we had Cornick available, the pitch was massive but we had no pace in the front 2 to take advantage of the space.

MotM by a mile was JJ who looks very much ready to take the next step now. We'll do very well to keep him beyond January because no doubt the scouts would have been watching that today.

Great to see Bezza back. He looked fit although a little slow to react mentally on a couple of occasions which is bound to happen after so long out. He didn't look scared of a tackle by any means which is encouraging. Hope he kicks on from here.

Decent performance today but no where near their best and the number of games definitely showing today as quality wained.

Only 10 places between the sides but the amount of resources stark, with the likes of Barry Bannan, George Boyd, Steven Fletcher et al in the starting line up. Going to be very difficult for any team to stay up next year with the difference in the two divisions.

Great win and completely unexpected, they outplayed us in the first half but it was much more even in the second with both sides having decent chances. Lists goal was a great piece of play from Eaves and then a lovely finish.

Just went absolutely bloody nuts to Pompey winning with the last kick of the game at Norwich. I loves the FA Cup I does!

Beating Norwich away in the FA Cup is easy, even a Non League team could do it.

May not register as a major shock but delighted to see us beat Ipswich to book a place in Round 4. Had a home draw in every round so far certainly wouldn't turn down another. I had no idea that we were on Football Focus this morning but if anyone on here watched it I hope the club came across well.

Our form has turned under Downes. Probably too late but I'd like to think we are showing signs of rochdale second half of last season.

We should have Mason and Wright back in the squad today along with Sadlier now his International Clearance has arrived so I expect a strong team to be put out.

Gutted to lose this, we played well throughout the game and got back into a 'winning position'
from 2 down. I cant remember the Fleetwood goalie having a shot to save BUT the Wombles took their chances brilliantly, I hope they get a 'big name' in the next round and make some good dosh -good luck to them
PS The Wombles are are a b... bogey side to us you must love playing us !!

Thats a super win. Gonna be an interesting second half of the season up at the top. I wouldn't be surprised if it all swaps around

Some very good performances and results from league one and two teams. Credit where's its due. A lot of discussion about clubs prioritizing the league ahead of the FA cup. Pity really that the higher league clubs in particular are fielding weaker teams. I belong to the generation where the FA cup 3rd round was the biggest day of the footballing calendar. Its not just the PL that has ruined the competition though, the FA themselves are doing their bit too by trying to make money from overseas broadcasting rights at the cost of gate income. Football is nothing without the fans but it appears the footballing authorities don't agree. Anyway respect to those clubs fans who still made the effort and turned up in big numbers including our own "scruffy" lot.

So, the League One clubs still in the hat are as follows:

Gillingham
Luton (Sheffield Wednesday)
Doncaster
Shrewsbury (Stoke)
Accrington
AFC Wimbledon
Portsmouth

Good effort all! Can't wait to draw Stanley in round 4.

Luton will either draw Newport away or draw Arsenal and then lose the replay with Sheff Wed.
