So then England have beaten India over this summer and now head to play a 5 match ODI series. Not sure I like the balance of the side with Cook/Ballance/Tredwell playing, there are better ODI players in the county domestic scene at the moment. Taylor, Vince, Roy, Hales (who finally has his chance).

Not pleased with the amount of non test cricket we have in the next 6-9 months.

Don't expect us to do anything in the world cup to be honest.

Another dismal ODI performance. Cook and Bell shouldn't be anywhere near the ODI side, especially Cook. Liked the look of Hales, wouldn't be surprised to see him go on and become a real ODI specialist around the world. I wouldn't play Jordan for a while. I just wish we would bring someone like Finn in to actually scare the Indian batsmen with some pace.

Another dire ODI batting performance. Cook has to go and we need to start employing people that have a shred of a clue on how to use their feet against spin in the middle overs. Awful.

Anyone watching this innings by AB De Villiers? Currently 82* off just 26 Balls. Made his 50 in 16 which is a new world record. Best batsman in the world in all formats for my money. Amazing stuff.

Daftest thing at the other end Amla is on 150* at more than a run a ball and he is playing the anchor role in comparison. AB now closing in his own 150. Feel for the Windies bowlers here.

De villiers is such a good batsman, he's been consistently good for many years. In fact, the whole of the SA batting line up is good.

Hilariously good innings, it was bizzarre to see someone hit big sixes with such infinite ease.

Never be beaten that.

Brilliant to see Steven Finn show some form, looked like he had a really good rhythmn when bowling.

Great intent early on with the bat in reply as well. Glad to see they're not just going to inch their way to the total.

New Zealand have gone from 93/5 to 349/5 with an over left. Like Ronchi is 163 from 96 and Grant Elliott 100 from 94. Brillant partnership.

Need to get Smith, if he is there at the end Australia win.

On a side note, this commentator on TMS sounds incredibly like Alan Partridge :D

Aussies will cruise it from here; looks flat out there. Glad we got 300+ - just a shame out bowling attack is poo.
